I ended up going with myregistry.com because this website lets you do both. Plus, we had our choice of any store we wanted when it came to picking out the cookware and kitchen appliances we wanted to register for. Hopefully we will get contributions toward our honeymooon fund and a few household items when the big day finally arrives!
