The Man Behind The Wedding Video - Brooks Video

To us, weddings are all about creating memories with the people you love the most. Paschal Brooks of Brooks Video is just the person who captures those beautiful moments…

Paschal mentions he loves the whole day but there is one moment he loves: “Filming a couple’s wedding day is enjoyable, seeing the couple getting ready, the nerves, the tension, the drama etc. My favorite part of the day is when the wedding rings are exchanged, the look of joy on their faces. After all that, pressure is off and the party begins!”

He adds that there is another part of the day he puts together for the day that is always a party starter: “Another favorite part for me is when I show a 10 minute clip on a large screen after the speeches. This edited and fun wedding presentation goes down very well. Family and friends just let their hair down.”

Capturing people’s special moments is really second nature to Paschal “I have been filming wedding for nearly 20 years now and just enjoy it. I’m very lucky to do something I love. It runs in the family really. My father set up a photographic business in 1952 and it is still going strong.”

In his 20 years, Paschal has seen a lot of interesting moments.”The nuttiest thing I ever filmed at a wedding was the priest going on fire.
He lent back on a candle and up he went… He survived it, but left everyone in shock!”

So what does Paschal love most about his job? “What I love about filming weddings is, a couple intrust me to film one of the biggest events in their lives. I film the wedding high quality with zero fuss.
When I get the text, e-mail or phone call telling me they love it; I have to admit, it is just a great feeling that can’t be beaten!
