When Barry and Rose initially met their photographer Naomi Kamat, their joy of the simple things in life resonated with her. Loving nothing more than sitting across the breakfast table from each other, their relationship is one of true beauty.
Suiting both young and old, the pair’s whimsical autumn wedding at Innishannon House Hotel was the perfect spot to create treasured moments with their loved ones as the sun set on their magical day.
“Our photographer Naomi Kamat was a perfectionist and cared a lot! She wanted to ensure she captured exactly the right moments of our wedding day.”
After meeting online, fate proved it really was meant to be. Barry had moved into the apartment block next to Rose only a few weeks beforehand!
Soon, they were inseparable and a proposal with a pink plastic ring set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Old Head of Kinsale sealed the deal. Rose gushed: “After, we went into Kinsale town and bought a friendship ring. A few weeks later I got my sapphire with diamonds, which I love!”
Complementing the chilled atmosphere of their big day, Rose wore a simple gown with lace and mesh back. Her hair was swept into pretty plaits and adorned with fresh blooms. While in keeping with the season, her bridal bouquet and wedding flowers were made up of rustic reds and burnt oranges.
Barry donned a wine suit, adding a pop of colour via a deep green tie. He looked quite the dapper autumn groom.
“Innishannon House is a stunning and romantic venue with gorgeous views of the lake. We got good vibes from the owners and the size of the venue was ideal for us. All of the rooms were quaint, just perfect!”
“The Best Man speech was the winner of the day. He had everyone in stitches laughing at his light-hearted and honest reminiscing stories of growing up with Barry.”
