This will keep those darker palettes at bay for at least another month, your colour scheme will be the epitome of feminine fall.
Beautiful Blossoms
In September we see the return of flourishing florals and berries in hues of burgundy, rich orange and rust. And there is an abundance of blooms, berries and foliage available for brides to choose from. Everything from opulent hydrangea to dahlias, snow berries, anemone and our favourite foliage ‘berried eucalyptus’ can be seen this season. “Brides getting married in September really need to decide their theme before choosing their floral colour scheme, as it is just the very beginning of autumn where the leaves have not quite turned. We are still seeing summer themed wedding flowers where you may use a softer colour palette of white and pale pinks.”
“Mixing summer with autumn is a perfect option during September as the seasons are just beginning to change. Why not be bold and choose a colour scheme of white, blush and burgundies like we did recently at a wedding in Dromoland Castle, Co. Clare. We used white hydrangea, white stocks, pale pink roses and a splash of burgundy finished with the wonderful deep red hanging amaranthus and berried eucalyptus.”
