Cahernane House on the Muckross Road in Killarney, is steeped in history and maintains the period feel to the house though it has gone through a manjor extension with a spa and new bedrooms added.  Bridal couples can still opt to stay in the old part of the house however and personally, that would be my choice too!

Weddings are held in the Herbert Restaurant and while they don’t have a function room per-se, you do have access to the Cellar Bar which would be nice for  traditional irish music as oppossed to a big dance-band.
