1. Keep Perspective.
It might seem really important, right now. But the long term view tells us it isn’t. No, not even the guest who is being strange, not your mother law who is being difficult, not your friends who are whining about this and that. None of it. In the long run, they are all just very small things. Keep the perspective.

2. Be alone.
everybody wants a piece of you leading up to the big day. Keep a piece for yourself. Get away and think. Think about your new life, this commitment you are making and why it matters. Think about whether this is something you want with all of your heart and soul.

3. Be quiet.
You can be alone and fill the space with noise. Switch it off and listen to what is crashing around in your brain and in your heart. Just let it be what it is.
