Clontarf Castle Hotel are hosting their third wedding fair on Sunday 1^st November 2009 from 1pm – 5pm. The Hotel will be all decked out as it would be for a wedding and staff will be on hand to answer questions and do show-arounds. They will walk all potential guests through the different range of bedrooms paying particular attention to the magnificent bridal suite with four poster bed, 42” plasma screen, free standing Victorian bath, living room and remote control black out blinds. I have seen this room myself and have to say it is lovely – the 4 poster bed is especially fab!

Clontarf Castle Hotel are also exclusively offering all guests who attend the Wedding Fair a special promotion on the day – if you book your wedding on the day & pay deposit within 5 days, they will throw in a complimentary buffet for your guests (worth over €1000.00) *T&C apply.

With the volume of posts going up on this blog lately, you can really tell that wedding fair season is really and truely upon us and another one is coming up this week in the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire.

The Royal Marine is hosting their annual Wedding Fair on Sunday 20th September 2009 from 2pm – 6pm. Their Wedding Menus start from €50, which is great value for this luxury 4 star hotel in a listed Victorian building.

I have been to the hotel myself and a real bonus is their sea-facing view from the front of the hotel – great for those wedding pics! They will be offering special discounts on the day and the staff will be on hand to discuss your specific wedding plans and help make them a reality.

What a fabulous idea to get creative and really have something special and memorable at the end of it! The Irish Design House is launching its program whereby you can “make your own wedding rings“. All details are outlined on the below flier. They are limiting the numbers to one couple per weekend and will lay on lunch both days, take photos of the couples progress and celebrate the completion of their wedding rings over a glass of champagne!
