Armada Hotel, Clare

We cannot thank The Armada Hotel enough for the amazing day they provided. We both now live in England and several of our guests were confused about why we were getting married in a fairly small place called Spanish Point - now they all regret not having their own weddings there. Saurabh and his team were exceptional to deal with and dealt with all my demands (of which there were several) so well. The owners, Clare & John were also incredible and helped to make it such an enjoyable day. Our guests loved every part of the day that The Armada had an involvement in and we/they are still receiving compliments nearly a year later. The Armada Hotel know how to 'do' weddings and I honestly don't know of a better place to have a wedding reception. The only thing they can't help with is making time slow down! The day absolutely flew by with no hiccups whatsoever. Wherever you choose to have your wedding reception, savour every second of it because you will blink and it'll all be over. If you have it here though, the memories will last a lifetime. And for all the right reasons. Our thanks again to The Armada Hotel but in particular Saurabh and his team for making the planning of our wedding so easy and the day itself one we will never forget.

John and myself had the most amazing wedding all thanks to Saurabh frank and their teams. The staff could not have been more helpful. Everything was so straight forward and there never was a problem with anything. All our guests couldn't say anything nicer than they did about the hotel from being brought tea and coffee complimentary to johns parents, john and myself having our own personal afternoon tea set up in the room the evening of our wedding so we could get a 15minute chill out together. I organised an afternoon china tea reception this was of no bother to the hotel even handwashing them and wrapping them up for us to take home.(over 100 cups and saucers!!) The food and wine was plentyful and all the guests said it was the best wedding reception they have ever been to from the friendly staff, delicious food and exceptional views from the hotel. Saurabh was always on hand whenever you needed him. The morning of our wedding we were all in the hotel anything we needed was with us in an instance. I can't rate this hotel enough as our wedding was everything we ever could dream of and more and this was mostly down to the organisation of the Armada Hotel. When we left after our wedding we were both lonesome both for our wedding and also leaving our special hotel. I would rate this 5 star for the outstanding service we received from the moment we booked our date for our wedding. We had our wedding at the Armada last August and our day was absolutely amazing. From our inital meeting with the coordinatior to the big day we received a fantastic service. Our Wedding coordinatior was always there to answer our questions and to give us some great ideas. On the day itself we were so impressed with all of the staff. The food was delicious, some of our guests said it was the best meal that they ever had. Thanks again to all at the Armada for making our day truly special. Rebecca and Ronan

Hi all I had my wedding in the Armada on the 14th December and I have to say both the Armade and the Armada staff made our day most enjoyable. From the very first moment we stepped foot in the Armada Saurbh and his team were on hand to answer any queries we had. He took us through the food options etc. and was always accommodating on the decision of our wedding date. The function room at the Armada looked so magical – all the beautiful fairy lights added to the room–the guests added that the tall candelabras were beautiful and as they were tall , the guests could talk across the table – it was all brilliant. Armada also provided the lights/ candles which led us down to the function room. This added to the occasion as it felt they were leading us on a journey– it was all brilliant. The staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for you on the day. I would defo recommend the Armada as a weddingvenue....

We got married in the Armada Hotel last July and I have to say they are a truly amazing team as they really go the extra mile to make it the best day ever! The food, location & service were excellent and no stone was left unturned to ensure our day ran smoothly. The wedding fair was a great weekend where we met other couples, sampled great food and picked up a few excellent local suppliers along the way.. Saurabh & Frank were always available running up to the wedding and still have a warm a welcome for us every time we visit Spanish Point.. Since our wedding the majority of our guests from the midlands and north west have either returned to the Armada or are planning a trip again this summer which says it all. Keep up the good work guys and we hope to see you soon! R&J
