We embrace the individual style of every couple to give you the day that you have dreamed of, and having taken care of generations of brides and grooms for over 50 years, we are delighted that we are now licensed to offer you the option of having your civil ceremony in our beautiful Manhattan Suite. Enjoy your day surrounded by flowers, candlelight, low ornate corniced ceilings; you are greeted by beauty from the moment you arrive. Together we can arrange your special day in as little as 3 months, and look after every detail so that you can enjoy the excitement with peace of mind.
Helpful Tips:
The first step in planning your civil day is to notify the state at least 3 months prior of your intention to marry. You must attend the office of the registrar in person, and an appointment is necessary to give this notification. When you make the appointment you will be told what documents you need to bring with you. They will ask you about the ceremony you have planned. You will be asked to sign a ‘declaration of no impediment’ meaning that there is no legal reason why you can’t be married. After you have provided all the necessary information and documentation and once they are satisfied that everything is in order, the registrar will issue you with a Marriage Registration form.
