Located in East Cork, the Castlemartyr Resort sits within a 220 acre estate featuring its own river, lake and surrounding woodlands. The Resort enjoys the unusual contrast of old world style in the Manor House and 13th Century Castle, to the contemporary new style of the newly built wing which hosts the majority of guest rooms, spa and ballroom.
Castlemartyr Resort can cater for weddings up to 70 guests in the Kiltha Room , which situated in the old Manor House, and up to 190 guests in the Capel Suite . The Capel Suite is unlike any other Ballroom in Ireland... featuring ceiling to floor windows, and magnificent drapes which close over in the evening time to offer a completely different look for your evening reception. There is a policy of only hosting one wedding per day.
At Castlemartyr we have 103 guestrooms and suites ranging from 500 sq ft in size to over 2,000sq ft. All our rooms feature King Size Bed, LCD TV, Wireless Internet Access, Touch Panel Control for lighting and drapes, Complimentary Refreshment Centre, Rainforest shower and Double Vanity. Each room overlooks Castlemartyr Estate’s lush parklands. A special wedding rate is available for all guests choosing to stay in the hotel.
The Ron Kirby designed Inland links style course is open for play. Overlooking the Golf Course, the Golf Clubhouse sits into the landscape and is positioned to provide panoramic views across the golf course from the comfort of the luxurious interior.
The Spa at Castlemartyr includes private treatment rooms, nail salon, fitness centre, 20 metre pool, jet pool, spacious wet treatment areas. The spa has proved popular with pre wedding pampering and specialized SPArty’s. Many other activities can be arranged for you around the resort including pony and trap rides, archery and bicycle rides.
