Set on 10 acres of magnificent landscaped gardens the Dolmen Hotel has established itself as one of the finest wedding venues in the south east. Overlooking the River Barrow and surrounding countryside are two beautifully appointed and well equipped function suites, The Barrow Suite and the Killeshin Suite. Both suites have been carefully planned and elegantly decorated in warm, relaxing colours. Private bars, dance floors, dimmer lighting, Led colour lighting, and air conditioning all provide the ideal setting to celebrate in comfort and style. Sweeping balconies extend from both banqueting suites where guests can enjoy an after dinner stroll.
The Dolmen Executive head Chef Laurence Richards has created sumptuous menus offering a carefully selected choice of dishes using only the freshest local market produce. and fresh herbs from the Dolmen's own herb garden. All menus are competitively priced and can be tailored to suit individual taste.

Civil Ceremony Weddings at the Dolmen Hotel
The Dolmen Hotel are delighted to welcome couples planning their civil ceremony. The district registrar for the Carlow area has approved the Dolmen Hotel as a civil ceremony venue, however each couple should contact the Carlow Community Care Office to apply for their license.
We have a choice of rooms to choose from to cater for any number of guests attending.
Our wedding co-ordinator is available to talk to you should you want to have your guests dine in the hotel after the ceremony.
