Glenview Hotel & Leisure Club, Wicklow

I got married in the Glenview in October 2010 and I can't praise them highly enough! Gina and the team were so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. There were so many little things they did that might not seem like much but made a huge difference to us, like keeping the bouquet in a chilled room overnight so it wouldn't wilt, boxing up the leftover cake and bringing it to our suite, the list goes on! The food was absolutely incredible, I've been to so many weddings elsewhere where the food is just mediocre but at our wedding we had people coming up to us during the rest of the night saying how much they loved the food. The rooms were fantastic too (Ok I might be slightly biased because we had the wedding suite) a lot of my relatives had to travel from the north of Ireland, and they stayed the night before as well as the night of the wedding. They all have very young children and were delighted at how well they were all looked after. The kids were thrilled because they got to use the pool in the leisure centre! Honestly, there's not one thing about our wedding day that I'd change and that's largely down to the wonderful staff at the Glenview. I'd recommend it to anyone! I'd love to go back and do it all again!!!

My partner and I would like to say the biggest thank you to you and your staff at the Glenview Hotel for the superb way you handled our ceremony party on 12th November last. I had carried out alot of research on three other hotels in Co.Wicklow and also The famous Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin as possible venues to have our special party and none of them came close to the feel and vibe I felt when dealing with you and your staff. As soon as I started to describe what elements we wanted to include at our party, we just felt straight away that you and your colleagues were going to take care of us. Our party was quite a complicated one, with many different elements, such as Casino entertainment, magicians,games,'Grab A Grand' competitions and music but it was never a problem to discuss these points with you and in fact,we never had to make too many calls at all because of the way you followed our requests to the letter. We had quite alot of guests staying at your hotel, another complication which was very easily looked after by your accommadation team and out of those thirty two guests not one of them had a single complaint, on the contrary, many of them would go back to The Glenview Hotel for their own holidays. At the party itself, the staff could not be more attentive. The service was fantastic and the food was only brilliant. Every person there commented on how good the food was and special thanks to the chef and his team for the little extras he added such as the carved food displays and the stand-alone cheese platter displays. To summarise once more Gina, we couldn't have asked for a better venue to have our party at. You and your team ticked all the boxes, you were so easy to deal with and your little extra touches brought the whole party together effortlessly. Thank you so much, Best regards. Hi me and my Husband Karl were married 5 years ago and we searched alot of hotels.Most hotels would not suit any of our requirements,we wanted a small wedding,small room,beautiful view and food.We loved the beautiful hotel,the amazing mountain view,the warm welcome every time we visited the hotel.I could not of asked for a better day,and we love going there now at least once a year if we can.I would'nt change a thing about the day.What was special for me is my mother worked in the hotel kitchen in her 20s and i never knew that when i booked it.My mam met Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton when they stayed in The Glenview Hotel years ago.And on my wedding day the staff were so lovely,they chatted to my mam about her time working in the hotel.My mam said it was the most relaxing wedding she has ever been too,it brought back lovely memories for her.I would recommend the Hotel to anyone.

We Had our Wedding in the Glenview Hotel in August 2005, and the staff were brilliant they made are day the best ever. Our family still talk about the wedding and the beautiful meal we had for our guests (the roast red pepper soup was a winner) On our 1st year wedding anniversary we were invited back for a meal in the woodlands restaurant and again it was a beautiful meal. I would Highly recommend the Glenview for the wedding of your dreams.
