Situated in Castleknock and within 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre, Luttrellstown Castle encompasses a unique setting comprising of over 500 acres of lush parkland, a splendid lake for fishing plus a championship golf course within the Luttrellstown estate. The castle caters for wedding parties for up to 150 people, whether it's a discreet intimate affair or a lavish celebration, the grounds at Luttrellstown also provide the perfect setting for a marquee with the historic castle backdrop. From the moment you are welcomed inside the Castles impressive hallway until you depart as Mr & Mrs, all services are provided very discreetly and efficiently, never intruding on your enjoyment or privacy.
The castle boasts 12 gracious bedrooms, accommodating up to 24 people. With such evocative names as The Guinness and The King John Suite, these rooms are full of individual character and luxury. Adding to the timeless appeal of these lovely rooms are the interesting antique furnishings which include four poster beds, marvelous antique baths and showers.
Our menus are totally personalized to your requirements using the finest local ingredients. Meals can be enjoyed in a range of locations throughout the Castle & grounds, flexibility & personalisation are key to your experience. An extensive wine list is available for your enjoyment.
A delightful after-dinner venue for those enjoying the Luttrellstown Castle experience is the Billiard room, complete with a full-sized table and small bar. Another great idea is to make this special time in your life last a little longer is to invite your guests to a bbq in the castle grounds the following day, our chef de cuisine can help you plan your menus.
Over the years many notable guests have spent some time including Queen Victoria, Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco, Fred Astaire, Douglas Fairbanks and Ronald Reagan. More recently Paul Newman and the pop group REM have made themselves at home in the castle.
