Mount Falcon is one of Irelands premier wedding reception venues. The original house, which dates back to 1871 was built to gain a young brides hand in marriage and to this day maintains this romantic aura.
With 32 bedrooms and 30 self catering lodges dotted around the 100 acre estate you have ample opportunities for unique photographs. Many of the original features have been restored for your pleasure with original pitch pine floor boards and shutters, fireplaces, Victorian tiling, cornices and servant bells. The house exudes a feeling of a time gone by.
We believe the heart of any wedding reception is the food. Thereby our Head chef Phillipe Farineau and his team ( who were recently awarded their second AA Rosette ) are on hand to ensure that this tradition is maintained throughout your special day.
Whether it is a sunny summer wedding with strawberries and champagne, a mulled wine and turf fires indoor winter wedding or a civil ceremony; Mount Falcon has a proven record and reputation for all. In order for us to understand your requirements we do not restrict the amount of time our events coordinator spends with you.
We invite you to a private viewing of the hotel and its facilities after which we sit down to go through any questions or queries you may have. We will then hold, on a provisional basis, your required wedding date for two weeks. Within which we ask that you forward a deposit in order to secure your preferred date.
