Springfort Hall Hotel, Cork

We got married in Springfort hall in October. We had visited a number of venues but we stopped looking once we visited this hotel. From the beautiful setting to the fabulous food we couldn't have asked for better. Many guests said it was not only the best wedding food but the best restaurant food they had ever had. On the day of the wedding everything was taken care of so we had nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get married.

Springfort Hall Hotel was one of about 4 hotels that we choose to check out for our wedding. As it happened, it was the first one that we visited….and the only one!!! My first view of the Hotel was when we swept around the bend in the driveway and I was already in love with the place from that moment. I hoped against hope that the hotel could offer us what we wanted for our wedding day as I just loved the ‘feel’ of the place. Beautiful green lawns, woodlands all around and this gorgeous house that ‘belonged’ in the middle of it all. On that day, we had not made an appointment, we just thought we’d go over and have a look at the place. However, we were warmly greeted by the girl on reception who right away sent Samantha to talk with us. She was an absolute gem…answering all our questions and did so professionally but with humour (very important!!). We booked the hotel the following weekend. The staff couldn’t do enough for us throughout the whole process. Unfortunately Samantha moved on to another job a few months before the wedding, but handed over to Kieran in Springfort Hall, who looked after us just as brilliantly as Samantha had. Thanks to Kieran & Paul, who were always at the end of the phone to answer my very important (& sometimes not so important!) questions and put my mind at rest. And what a great evening we had when myself, my husband and 4 other guests went for our tasting a month before the wedding…we had a great evening and the food was only fabulous!! Again, the staff went out of their way to make the experience an enjoyable one for us all. And so to the big day…we had our civil ceremony in Springfort Hall on 30th August…the ceremony room was just absolutely magical…I will never forget how special it felt walking in there and then being married in such a gorgeously decorated room…it helped create a comfortable yet intimate setting for us. We then had our drinks reception out on the lawn where a string quartet were playing in the background, again the staff were great. We had our photographs taken outdoors (it was the first sunny day in weeks!) which was lovely. When we arrived in the function room for the reception I was gobsmacked at how fantastic the room looked. What had been a beautiful ceremony room just 2 hours earlier had been transformed into an absolutely lovely function room for the reception…the fairly lights twinkled all around (I love twinkle & sparkle!) the table settings were fab with candleabras & lilies on alternate tables as requested. The meal was just fabulously scrumptious! People are still commenting on how lovely the food was. And through it all Kieran and Mrs. Walsh were on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I cannot recomment Springfort Hall Hotel highly enough to any prospective brides & grooms who are considering which venue to choose…and I cannot thank Samantha, Kieran, Paul, Mrs. Walsh and all the staff for all of their hard work in making our day so so special for us and for their particular care and attention to what we wanted…and Kieran, for your great patience also!! P.S. The double bed in the Bridal Suite is just GLORIOUSLYcomfortable…sinkability at its finest!!!

first visited Springfort Hall in 2007 as a wedding guest and we immediately fell in love with the surrounding grounds and chacater of the hotel....so when we got engaged and set a date (10th August 2012) we looked no further and booked Springfort Hall Hotel immediately. Once we met with Mrs Walsh, it was obvious they she would be there to help us in what every way she could to accomodate us up to the day. Mrs Walsh, her son Paul and their marketing manager Mags were fantastic, they were great to keep in contact with us and as a result their was no stress. A few weeks before the big day, we went for a tasting for our menu and we were blown away, my husband Keith who is a chef couldnt complement the food enough and we knew we had made the right decision. All our guests on the day commented on the food, some had 2 servicing which nearly equated to 2 dinners! :) The function room was nicely decorated and set up in the way I had requested. All in all, the staff couldnt do enough to help us, the hotel, the grounds and food are fantastic. We are so glad we booked our wedding here...they say it is the best day of your life, and due to Springfit hall...it was! Just want to say thanks again to the management & staff for a fantastic day!

We got married on the 4th August 2012 and it was truely the best day of my life and i have Springfort Hall Hotel to thank ever so much.Its a beautiful venue for a wedding and the staff there are so friendly and professional, they catered for our every need.Mags Corbett kept in contact with us throughout the planning stage and was always there when i needed her.On the day Paul Walsh was there to greet us with champayne on the lawn and when i saw the reception room it took my breath away it was so beautiful and elegant i was over the moon.The service was fantastic and all our 140 guest comented on how fabulous the food was and that was all down the Paddy the chef.Also Keiran was always on hand right till the end of the evening incase we needed anything.We cant reccomend Sprigfort Hall Hotel enough and i would like to say a big thank you to Mags,Paul,Keiran and Paddy for making our day run very smoothly.

Last July we had our wedding at Springfort Hall hotel. Our wedding coordinator was kieran he was fantastic, there was never anything too big or too small that he couldnt do for us. We always felt relaxed and reassured that we were in very good care when dealing with this hotel. On the day the staff we so kind and friendly to all our guests and so welcoming . We immediately felt at ease and knew that we were in great care all day . The meal was beautiful especially the beef all the guests were raving about it. Kieran was there the minute we arrived to the early hours of the morning and always made sure we wanted for nothing. We felt like the hotel was ours for the day and night and it felt so special. We would highly recommend Springfort Hall hotel to anyone wanting a special day in beautiful surroundings.
