Don't Sweat the Small Stuff at the Stormont

We had the absolute pleasure of talking to Natalie Gourley, Wedding Coordinator at the superb Stormont Hotel, Belfast wedding venue. Natalie told us about the last minute worries and why you shouldn’t sweat the small stuff.

“If I had to give some words of advice for newly engaged couples starting out on their planning, I would say enjoy the process and don’t get too stressed!!  Everything will come together.”

“Most couples get stressed over the minor details, most commonly what the kids menu is or where can you get photos taken!  We are lucky to have the Stormont Estate on our doorstep, which we are able to use, providing a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos.”

“My favourite wedding trend of 2014 has to be Sweetie Carts!!! The majority of our weddings last year had a sweetie cart/table!  The trends that I am most looking forward to this year are Vintage Brooch Bouquets. These were displayed at our Wedding Fair last year and had a lot of interest from our brides.”

Stormont Hotel

“A typical Wedding day in the Stormont Hotel is very relaxed and calm. Our team are always very efficient and organised the actual day of the wedding. We like to give the bride and groom the opportunity to embrace the atmosphere and enjoy ‘their’ day.”

“The ‘Wow’ Factor about the Stormont Hotel for any Bride & Groom is the staff, who are so attentive and very good at looking after our bride and grooms from the initial show around right through to the day of the wedding.”

“If I had to describe The Stormont Hotel in one sentence, I would say that, it is the perfect venue for the perfect day with the perfect team to look after you!”

Thanks a million to Natalie for taking the time to chat to us. We are in love with brooch bouquets too, that’s one trend that isn’t going anywhere! Check out the Stormont Hotel, Belfast wedding venue for your perfect wedding.
