This dress of the month is one that we long debated about in this office. There are have been a lot of mixed bag opinions about what makes a wedding dress (Keira Knightley, we’re looking at you) but we all agreed that this month’s wedding dress blew every other designer and bride out of the water.
Olympic gold medalist Jessica Ennis Married her childhood sweetheart, Andy Hill last weekend in the Peak District wearing on of Monique L’huillier’s spring 2012 gowns. The dress is from her 2012 collection Legacy and is made of white silk organza with a v- neck line and full floral embroidered A-line skirt. Jessica also sported a chapel length veil with a gorgeous bouquet of pale cream and pink roses.
Monique L’Huillier at the ripe age of 41 has quickly shot up in the world of bridal fashion. Designing for brides like Reese Witherspoon in 2011, L’huillier has more than made a huge name for herself.
Jessica looks absolutely stunning in this gown. The perfect combination of a classical gown with a twist, Ennis is glowing!
