Stress Factor - 3 Quick Tips to Survive Wedding Stress

Wedding stress

We all know that weddings are a stressful (and exciting) time. Unfortunately, not all of us have degrees in Event Management (wouldn’t that be handy?) but there are a few very quick tips you can bring into your daily planning to make your life that much easier.

Online To Do Lists

Wunderlist is an amazing tool for keeping track of your everyday to do lists. They can even be edited and given milestones! And yes, there’s even an app! This handy tool is a lifesaver here at WeddingDates HQ as we’re always jumbling down words and ideas on sticky notes!

Share The Jobs

Even if you are a control freak- do not leave every single little task to yourself! Delegate the smaller jobs out to people you trust (don’t forget your man to be!) to save yourself more time on the things you care about. The trick to delegating is to be as specific as possible to the person you’re giving the job to.  Bridesmaids and family are there to give you that support so use them!

Plan Your Wedding- But Accept That it Won’t be ‘Perfect’

Many blogs (yes we’re guilty too!) and magazines mention “The Perfect Wedding”. The truth is that there is no such thing as this. Your wedding will be perfect because its yours and your husband’s day not because the table décor matched your theme. Accepting that everyone has limits and that having the perfect day will relieve so much stress and will also allow you to actually have fun planning your wedding.
