It's hard to know even where to start in complementing the team at Ballyroe. From the very first time we spoke with them, right to the time we left after the day of the wedding, Mark, Jonathan and the whole team were the height of professionalism.
You couldn't really single out one specific point in which the team excelled so here's a few key points.
We work in Dublin so communicated mainly through email with the team and each email was responded to quickly and in perfect detail and clarity. No question was too trivial for the team and we knew we were dealing with professionals from the very first mail.
We're big foodies and have been at many weddings were the quality of the food was more pub carvery dinners than fine dining. That couldn't be further from the truth with Ballyroe. From our first tasting of the menu we knew we were onto a winner and on the day itself the beef and sea bass were perfectly cooked and were of fantastic quality, with our friends still talking about them to this day!
On the day, Jonathan and the team directed us perfectly through everything we needed to do!
We were blessed with the weather on the day, allowing our guests to sit outside and take in the panoramic views over Kerry in what could only be described as the perfect drinks reception.
Of course no wedding is without the odd minor panic and the team at Ballyroe also helped us avoid not just one but many self impose emergencies! Without them our wedding wouldn't have gone nearly as smoothly!
I've been at many hotels and weddings where the staff just seem to be going through the motions, but in Ballyroe, everyone from the managers to the waitstaff made us and our guests so welcome and were so excited and enthusiastic on the day you would have thought it was their own wedding!
I truly can't recommend Ballyroe highly enough to anyone getting married. The venue and the team are beyond fantastic and will make your big day more enjoyable than you could ever imagine.
