The Rothe House Tudor Gardens
After extensive archaeological excavations, the Rothe House garden has been restored to the full 17th century glory as it would have appeared, the garden is a real hidden gem and oasis of calm in the busy city centre of Kilkenny. Within its medieval limestone walls, gravel paths run between beds planted with herbs, aromatics, flowers and ornamental trees. As well as a thriving orchard, the garden is also home to resident ducks during the summer.
