Ballinacurra House is located a five minute drive away from the “Ultimate wedding destination” of Kinsale, a heritage town with its spectacular harbour, forts and culinary reputation which contributes to the “destination wedding” atmosphere.

With over 25 years of event planning experience, the owners Des and Lisa McGahan works attentively with you to plan your wedding, manage your budget and lend their expertise to design a bespoke private wedding that is unique to your taste and style.  We have also handpicked a team of professional and personable staff including your own in-house wedding co-ordinator, personal chef, maitre d’ and service staff to cater to your every need.

The manor house was built in the late 1700’s with its first recorded owner of John Swete Esquire, the High Sheriff of Cork.  The House was completely renovated from 2000 – 2003 to its current modern standards.  Every room in the house has been meticulously themed and offers 22 suites throughout the Main house, Cottage and Coach House as well as various lounge and entertainment rooms.

Whether you are looking for an elegant formal sit down dinner for your Wedding Day, a casual family rehearsal dinner the night before or a fun barbecue for your ‘recovery day’, we have many different dining options.  Our maximum capacity is 150 people using the conjoined Ballroom and Garden room or smaller groups can use the Garden room for up to 100 people or the Ballroom for up to 50 people.
