A stone-clad boutique Hotel nestled in the rolling hills of Donegal, we are the one-stop-shop for Weddings. 15 Years experience with over 1,300 Weddings. Landscaped Gardens with a 150 year Old Church building onsite plus close to simply stunning local photographic Hot Spots, e.g., the historical An Grianan Fort.

Your Guests will receive a Red Carpet welcome via our resident Gentleman Mr Johnston. They can then mingle in our meandering Foyer that simply oozes sophistication throughout.

Then on to our unique circular and stunning Tuatha De Danann Suite.

Our Function suite is capable of seating up to 300 Guests. It has an excellent appointed Bar which is bathed in natural Sunlight via our stunning Sky Light. The Crystal Chandeliers add the Elegance on what is a simply marvellous Suite.

We will only ever have one Wedding Per Day and all attention will be focused on YOU! You can basically take over the whole Hotel.

We are really struggling to find the words to describe how amazing the An Grainan Hotel was having the most important day of our life there, our wedding.

start along with all the staff, they just made us feel so comfortable and important on our big day from start to finish, nothing was a bother to any of them.

Don’t let the 3 stars of this hotel put you off because you get 5 start treatment as soon as you walk through the doors. The food was also out this world, not one complaint from any guest and the function room is one of the most beautiful settings you will find in the northwest for a wedding.

So from Mr and Mrs McGowan we would like to thank Deirdre and her amazing team thanks again for making the most important day our life one to remember and would HIGHLY recommend have your big day in the An Grainan, you will not be disappointed!

Since our wedding day, we’ve received only compliments about the food, the venue, and the service.

People always ask if there is something you’d change about your wedding. Jack and I could only wish that there were more hours in the day to enjoy the amazing venue.

Honestly, there’s a reason why An Grianan continues to win the best Wedding Venue: because of how they treat their guests like family. Jack and I can’t wait to continue returning to An Grianan for our yearly anniversary.

Thank you for everything that you did for us, our family, and all our friends to make our day so special. It’s a day that we’ll always remember.

From the moment we met Deirdre, we knew we had already made the right choice. Being local, we had often sampled the food and were never disappointed. To add to that, the venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding. It has a beautiful interior and exterior, and the gardens are just the perfect …

backdrop for photos, as we found out. The guest rooms are large, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The honeymoon suite is something else. It is absolutely stunning, and with the bonus of a hot tub, it was really special.

Deirdre and Aisling were absolutely brilliant on the day of our wedding. They informed us of everything and let us know what to expect and where we should be at certain times. Being nervous brides and grooms, we were put at ease watching Aisling and the team execute dinner service as if it were a world-class dance routine. Everything was spot on, perfectly in sync, and so pleasant to deal with. Deirdre was on hand to oversee everything and kept us relaxed and calm. We couldn't have chosen a better team or venue if we tried. As the groom, you want your bride to feel at ease and comfortable during the day. Deirdre, Aisling and the rest of the staff took the greatest care of all her needs and made her feel like the only person in the room. What a wonderful day we had. We can't thank everyone at An Grianan Hotel enough for giving us the best day of our lives.
