Montenotte Hotel, Cork

Hi amanda Myself and my husband would like to thankyou so much for a wonderful day can't believe how fast it goes by.the staff were very friendly the food was fantastic,service excellent,presidential suite unreal from the minute I arrived at the hotel ye were by myside making sure everything was right,everything I asked for was done couldn't ask for anything else we had the best time and so did all of our guests would do it all over again if we could,just one last thing Amanda the wedding coordinater is brilliant at her job very nice and will make sure your day is perfect Billiejean&Robert Hughes Married on the 14 of February 2013

We held our wedding reception in the Montenotte Hotel in October 2011 and found Amanda and the staff there to be so accommodating and helpful. We were looking for a venue that would comfortably cater for our numbers (200 approx), held just one wedding a day and had natural lighting in the function room. The Montenotte Hotel ticked all these boxes, and more! We met with wedding planner Amanda on a number of occasions in the run up to the big day. We had very definite ideas about different aspects of the reception (seating plan, timing, Video booth, entertainment, afters food etc.) Amanda took all our ideas on board and met our requirements or else suggested an even better alternative! Anytime I had a concern or second thoughts about a decision, Amanda was on the other end of the phone to offer reassurance and update the plans accordingly. As a large number of our guests were travelling to the wedding, it was important to us that accommodation be available at a reasonable price. We were offered fantastic value for money at the Montenotte Hotel. Amanda was always open to negotiation on different aspects of our wedding package which we really appreciated. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly - overseen by Amanda and her colleague Daivia. Guests arrived to a reception of sandwiches, punch, biscuits etc and settled into the bar area. The bar, with beautiful views of the city, has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Shortly after 6pm we were called downstairs for dinner. Everyone was very happy both with the service and quality of food. (We had great fun at the menu tasting some weeks in advance). The staff ensured that the clearing back of tables happened seamlessly. We danced until well into the night and finished up in the Residents' Bar some time after 7am next morning. A number of our friends and family also stayed the second night in the Montenotte Hotel with us. We were equally well looked after the second night - which I thought was a lovely sign of the place. Daivia went out of her way to accommodate a group of us who wanted to have dinner in the bar - and I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. The wedding suite was gorgeous, and as there was no wedding in the hotel on the second night, we got to stay there that night also. We currently looking forward to staying in the Montenotte to celebrate our first anniversary. The hotel holds such happy memories for us both. I can honestly recommend the hotel and staff without reservation.

Myself and my husband Padhraic got married abroad and we had our wedding party at the Montenotte hotel. From the moment I met Amanda and the team they couldn't do enough to help us. From the start Amanda was very hands on and threw out a lot of ideas for me which were very helpful.They looked after our guests who where staying over night, the main room which we held the party was done up beautifully as if we had a big wedding there was champagne reception to start,candles on the tables and fairy lights by the windows. We had finger food half way through which went down a treat. The staff on the night were fantastic even through to the next morning! Overall we came away with a brilliant impression of the Montenotte as a hotel and the amazing team of people that work there. Thanks for everything.

We had our wedding in the Montenotte Hotel in June last year and i could not reccomend it highly enough, The staff were so helpful from the very start and made our day as special as it was, All our guests still comment on how nice the food was and how obliging they were to people with special requirements, Overall we found the Montenotte and its staff amazing especially the wedding co-ordinator Amanda who goes well above and beyond to help out with every aspect.
