Resort were excellent. The whole weekend had a relaxed atmosphere and there were accommodation options to suite everyone. We would highly recommend the Castlerosse to friends & family for future weddings and we are looking forward to coming back soon ourselves

Dublin and my husband is a Kiwi. We had been to Killarney on a few trips home and absolutely love it. We stayed at the Castlerosse on one of those trips and my (now)husband made a wedding enquiry. When we got back to NZ I had my parents have a look at a few other venues around Killarney just to keep our options open. They picked the Castlerosse so we decided to go ahead and I’m so glad we did. Being from Dublin and living in NZ we had so many people stay 3 nights. The price for what we got was superb. Walking distance into the town or a 5 minute taxi ride. The food, the staff, the view just everything was so brilliant I can’t see how it could have been any better. We got so many compliments and everybody had such an amazing time. The staff at the Castlerosse are absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The whole day was just beautiful. I can’t recommend it enough for a wedding. We will be forever grateful - thank you so so much!! Mr & Mrs Double xxx

Castlerosse was going to be our choice.

Throughout the year the staff were excellent , helping with ideas and giving advice. We meet Mark at our tasting and he walked us through the whole day.

The Reception was fantastic , the food was excellent and the venue looked amazing , of course complimented by the magnificent views.

Our guests were amazed by the quality of the hotel and the professionalism of staff.

Thank you so much to Mark, Michael and all the Staff at the Castlerosse for giving us a day we will always remember.

of the hotel. On our first meeting with Michael, he made us feel at home and we were sold straight away with what the hotel could offer us. Mark helped us finalise the prepations for the cermony and reception, again he could not help us enough with everything we asked for even reserved parking for our parents. We found that all staff were helpful with any queries we had on the run up to our big day. On the day of our wedding, everything ran smoothly and was well organised from the moment that we arrived to the hotel. We received no bad reviews from our guests about the hotel and the accommodation only how the hotel made them feel welcome and could not be more helpful with them on any queries that they had and that they would revisit the hotel. We could not fault the meal that was served to us on the night of the tasting and the night of our wedding, all the guests were complimentary about the food that they received at our reception. We would like to thank Michael, Mark, Ella and all the staff for helping us with our special day and we highly recommend the Castlerosse Park Resort as a Spectacular Wedding Venue

experience and friendly nature made us and our guests feel at ease.
Our guests were raving about the fantastic food and relaxed atmosphere.
From the moment we all arrived, until the moment we left, we had a fantastic time.
Our families all stayed on site, hiring lodges, rooms and suites to suit their needs. Leisure facilities were fantastic, clean and never too busy.
We had many keen golfers who decided to play the on site 9 hole golf course rather than fork out for the nearby championship course -such is the quality.
We had a small competition the day after the wedding which the Castlerosse were more than happy to accommodate!

We have very fond memories of our day and can't wait to return again soon to reminisce.
We would recommend the Castlerosse to anyone!

and the hotel was completely understanding of our situation and were so helpful we knew we had the best venue for our wedding and we weren't disappointed.

The food was beautiful any time we went there in the lead up to the wedding and all the guests were complimenting the food afterwards. The rooms are lovely and what can i say about the view from the reception room of the lake and mountain but it is spectacular.

We would highly recommend Castlerosse hotel for a wedding and can't thank them enough for the special day they gave us.

view is amazing, the staff are so friendly. Every email was answered swiftly and they even downloaded and played our 1st dance, we had an absolutely amazing day from start to finish, would highly recommend the Castlerosse for your wedding. 10/10

the day itself, always available to answer any queries we had, and accommodating with any additional requests. Our welcome drinks and reception ran smoothly throughout. The food was excellent, plenty of everything, very tasty and exactly as we had requested following our tasting in June. Over half our 130 guests had travelled from London, New York and South America, and these guests in particular were blown away at the exceptional quality of the venue and everything provided for by the Castlerosse over the weekend.

off without a hitch and all our guests were delighted. The portion sizes were fantastic and everyone was raving about the quality and the efficiency of the staff. The rooms were fantastic and I couldn't recommend the golf lodges for families enough. The views and the general surroundings were outstanding and really contributed to the whole weekend. I would not hesitate to book the hotel for any event I was holding and will definitely be calling to stay for any nights away with my husband.

we will remember for the rest of our lifes ..all the staff and management were great on the day with everyone getting their food at the same time...We really felt relax and happy with the whole day...anybody getting married i would highly recommend they look at the Castlerosse . We had a small wedding of 72 and the room was perfect and also had a civil ceremony upstairs with a view you'd get no where in the world ...thank u for making our day so special..

wedding. We were so wrong ...it was easy from emailing the lovely Joan for all our accommodation requirements to the very fabulous Michael and Mark for our wedding planning.

Everyone was a joy to work with and it went so smoothly...
We had 80 guests and most were from the UK who loved every minute of their little breakaway.They loved the food,the scenery, the staff, the hotel and the wedding itself.Everything was pristine from beginning to end and it would not have been possible without Joan whom we truly appreciated for all her hard work.Mark,Michael and their staff for their perfect attention to detail while all the time making sure our guests were taken care of which made our day so special.

honeymoon suit was fabulous and it also catered for my two young children on the night of the wedding. The food was excellent on the day of the wedding, we also had our day after party at the Castlerosse and this was an ideal setting for a drink and food.

guidance throughout the planning from the menu to the deco...it was an absolute pleasure to work with him and experience the final result of his hard work.
Also a big thank you goes to the staff of the Castlerosse. They were so nice and helpful with a great work ethic and attitude.
The other reason we chose the Castlerosse was the location. It's so beautiful and tranquil. Overlooking the beautiful lakes and mountains it was perfect for photos and especially beautiful to to view as we ate our fantastic meal and danced the night away!
For a beautiful and unforgettable wedding day experience I would highly recommend the Castlerosse for its beautiful scenery and location , amazing food and helpful and kind staff.

organised our wedding from The UK to all The finishing touches and decor on the day and the smooth running of everything. They really did take the pressure off so much and assisted with my slightly different ideas re seating plan on bottles haha!

Michael and Mark were both superb in helping organise our day ensuring all the little Things were taken care of - nothing is too much for them to do....Mark is quite creative in decorating and putting the extra touch into details. Michael was superb in helping us choose our wedding food and we had comments from nearly all our guests on how superb the food was on the day. It was absolutely delicious. So impressed - 5 Star

the Castlerosse hotel to check it as a venue we were treated like family and made feel so special. From choosing our package to the food and wine, to picking style we wanted and little touches around the place Mike and Amy did everything they could to make it happen for us. Both myself and Dave are easygoing and fairly relaxed and we wanted our wedding to be like that as well - Mike and Amy made that happen for us from when things ran a little behind right down to when family (who knew what menu was) couldn't decide about which dessert they'd have so we decided to put all 3 three together and making the package for tayto sandwiches :-) We had gone to other hotels but without a doubt the Castlerosse and all staff were perfect. The stunning views of the lakes, plenty of accommodation, drinks reception, the wonderful meal that was put in front of us (which was complimented on by everyone of our family and friends), the baloons that were given to the children, everything was perfect.. Our day flew and everything went off like a dream. Thanks Mike and Amy for making our day so special for us.. We'll be calling down to see ye when we can..

we had in other hotels prior to this. Michael assured us that any requests we had could be met (such as alternative beers and spirits for the bar) with ease.
In general, prior to the wedding all of our dealings with any of the staff in the Castlerosse were easygoing positive interactions.

On the day of our wedding we couldn't get over the hotel in general. We brought 174 guests, mostly from cork but some people had travelled from far and wide. The views that the hotel boast cannot be measured and we were lucky that the sun was shining to add to the beauty. The drinks reception upstairs was amazing and canapés were delicious. Amy, mark and Michael were at hand to talk us through any minor details and just to make sure we were having the best time possible.
The meal was delicious and also the other requests that we had, such as crackers and relish etc for our untraditional cheese wedding cake were catered for without a second question.
All of our guests were welcomed to the residents bar with friendliness!
It was such a spectacular weekend, people are still commenting on how they loved just parking their car on the Friday and whether they were staying in the lovely cottages or hotel rooms , they didn't have to look at their cars again until the Monday!
We will definitely be revisiting the castlerosse hotel and would recommend it with praise to anyone considering it for their wedding,
PS the bridal suite is amazing!

boy. The majority of the arrangements had to be made by phone and e-mail as we could only visit twice before the actual event. The setting was perfect, the ceremony being held upstairs meant we had the best views of the lakes with our drinks reception next door. The dining room was decorated perfectly and extra guest accommodated with no problems at all. We had quite a few children at the wedding, they were also catered for with their own menu so no one went hungry, and we still have friends raving about the quality of the food and service. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to have a wedding in Killarney. Thank you Michael and all for making our day go so smoothly!

On the day itself, absolutely nothing was overlooked, and the high standard of service and continued care towards our guests was outstanding. Michael and Mark, and Amy in the evening, were very vigilant to ensure the smooth running of the entire reception. Throughout the day, staff congratulated us or introduced themselves to us if they could be of further assistance. Every item of miscellany - from the bride's bouquet, other bouquets, guests' gifts including cards, various bags and personal items - were all carefully looked after and safely stored.

The food was first class with many guests telling us how much they loved it. The portions were certainly plentiful. The evening spread, including the cake, was also very generous and well received.

We're particularly grateful to Michael for his openness and flexibility in helping our evening run smoothly, and for his coordination with the best man, given the progressive late running of our evening entertainment.

Overall, what a great experience! We can't recommend the Castlerosse highly enough, and thank the management and staff from the bottom of our hearts for a truly memorable time.

our guests before the meal. The hotel is easy to find and get to just lying outside Killarney on the Killorglin (Fossa) road. There is a range of accommodation available from holiday homes to hotel rooms. It boasts excellent facilities such as 9 hole golf course, gym, swimming pool, wifi etc. Our guests were delighted to book in and stay the night and some made a weekend out of it.
We had 165 guests which is the ideal size for a wedding here. To accommodate this number a few different table size were arranged in the room such round tables of 8 and 10 and long straight tables of 14. The quality of the good is second to none and we are still receiving very positive feedback from our guests on the food and meal options we went for. Also the late evening food was very much enjoyed by our guests and there was more than enough supplied.
The change over from dining room to music and dancing venue was quick and seemless and gave people a chance to mingle and talk before the band were ready to begin the playing.
In the months and weeks leading in to the wedding Michael O'Sullivan (Food & Beverage Manager) was only ever a phone call or email away. I usually emailed him and got a response within a couple of hours.
We are so happy we made the right choose of venue and would recommend it to anyone.

and his colleagues gave us before the day in planning was great. I knew the hotel very well but my husband did not however when he met Michael and seen what was on offer- the hotel including the food menu options, golf facilities all on the backdrop of the Kerry mountains and lakes he too was reassured with the booking. We were planning the wedding from Scotland and had guests travelling from all over the world so the various means of communication available to us to plan the day in particular via email made the whole procedure planning it effortless, seamless and with minimal stress. Thank you to all the staff. The guests who attended were delighted with the hotel, facilities and friendly reception from the staff especially guests who travelled from as far as Australia.

We would definitely recommend this hotel anytime for any occassion.

every need. The views were stunning from both the room where the drinks reception was held and from the actual venue for the reception. The staff were very polite, the food was of superb standard and the managers couldn't do enough to carter to both us and our guests. We had a fantastic stay all weekend. The rooms were clean and of good standard. We highly recommend this place if your considering having your wedding in Killarney.
