From the minute we booked and before, any questions or queries we had were answered no problem. We were dealing mainly with Nicola and Eddie but it didn't matter if we phoned and got Margaret or Darren they were all able to help. We had a great day and night.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and the food was absolutely beautiful. This hotel is first class and i would recommend it to anyone who wish to celebrate a special occasion as all involved with the hotel are truly professional in what they do .

After choosing our date, we went to meet with Melissa months in advance to taste the options for our guests set menu. Naturally, I thought when sizeable portions of exquisite cuisine were given to us, I …

presumed there was no way the same care for presentation and flavor could be taken on the day with our 150+ guests, though I couldn't have been more mistaken with attention given to all sorts of dietary requirements on the day, and all guests left satisfied with the meal.

From the outset, VIP treatment doesn't do justice to how we were treated by all team members at the Castletroy Park. Whether with Nicola via email, or Bart in the hotel in person, I am struggling to remember all the names of those who are due credit. With all of our requests for the special day, the word "no" was not in their vocabulary, and having working in hotels and restaurants myself for 10 years, this willingness to cater for each whim we had was something very special for my bride and I.

While at first glance the packages offered are more expensive than other venues we looked at, they are vastly more inclusive of little extras which other places charge through the nose for. Bottomless Prosecco reception for guests, finger food in the night time, silver-service for top table, Limerick ham being carved in the lobby by a chef for guests arrival - the list goes on and on.

Special mention to Kevin who was ever-present though not intrusive, and available to help out with anything.

If you are thinking of staying here or having a function, I recommend just go to meet them once, see the place laid out for a wedding, and you'll be blown away. Absolutely stellar team from management to servers, bartenders and receptionists.

Man of the Match award from us goes to Eddie - to have someone nearby on such a stressful day with such a calm and pleasant demeanor was a blessing. We were so so happy with how things were.

Everything ran so smoothly, they organised everything for me.
If I had any queries, Margaret would respond back in ten minutes. Anything we asked for was no hassle, we had dinner a few days before our wedding, Margaret personalised the menu. It's the small details that were just unbelievable, they were extremely easy to deal with.
We first met Melissa at our menu tasting, she made us feel at ease, she is the most nicest girl. We had the pleasure of having Melissa on our wedding day and she made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. She even helped out the photographer and videographer on the day.
Eddie was there on the night, he made sure all food was served to top spec. All my guests on the night were commenting how unbelievable the food was, there wasn't enough room for all the food they served.

held our hand and guided us through the planning process. She was with us every step of the way and by the end she felt like family.

We had both our ceremony and reception in Castletroy which made everything so much easier. There is so much included as standard in the Castletroy packages such as decorations and centrepieces etc. it saved us hundreds of euros.

During our wedding weekend, if possible, the service and support reached even higher standards. We, and all of our guests, were given VIP treatment from the moment we arrived. Every single member of staff made us feel special and ensured we were looked after. Special shout out to Kevin who is the Concierge Extraordinaire and who quickly became most popular with our guests.

Our wedding day was genuinely the stuff of dreams. Everything went absolutely swimmingly - the entire thing was slick and relaxed. Here we have the outrageously amazing Eddie to thank for this. Eddie ran the entire day like a Swiss watch - it was seamless. Eddie was in control of everything, we didn't need to do any thinking or worrying on the day - Eddie was on top of literally everything!. There was no ask too big or small for Eddie or his team. Eddie's incredible experience shone through and made us feel relaxed about everything from start to finish. By the end of the day Eddie was giving Kevin a run for his money for the title of the favourite among our guests!

Our reception was fantastic, the food was truly incredible - our guests are still talking about it.

The service we were provided by Castletroy was truly world class. You won't regret choosing Castletroy for your special day.

phenomenal and any task we thought of was never an issue, they always dealt with us with such grace. It was a relief having a team dedicated to organising and planning the running of the day, I had thought initially about doing something much smaller due to the amount of prep that goes into organising such an event, however I can't express enough how laid back I was about the whole reception at a hotel and that is 100% to do with the amount of work that goes on in the background. Eddie was there with us on the day, who talked us through everything and made sure we knew what we were doing. He'd arranged for all our little things to be done for us i.e Tayto wall, sweet table etc, all we had to do was provide the goods lol. John and I had the most special day, starting with a beautiful ceremony at the church followed by an exceptional reception at Castletroy Park. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed their day and evening. Some have said it was the best wedding they've been to in years. I'm so grateful for all the team in Castletroy Park Hotel, they went over and beyond for us on our special day and we can't thank them enough. We are looking forward to my brothers upcoming reception there next year and we would highly recommend them to anyone contemplating hotel receptions. during our planning, and of course the day itself. Small details were thought of by the staff that removed stress for us. For example, I stayed at the hotel the night before the wedding. When I returned from my hair appointment on the day of, all my belongings were moved for me to the bridal suite so I could get ready there. They had champagne and snacks for me and my family as we got ready. There were last minute changes to the table plan that were dealt with so calmly. The bridal suite was beautiful and such a great spot for photos. Throughout the day, the food, drinks and service were really excellent. The atmosphere was also lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests, many of whom also stayed overnight at the hotel, raved about the food and the staff service. Everyone was so well treated by Kevin, the concierge, the reception staff, the waiting and bar staff. Eddie who managed our reception on the day, and his support staff were really excellent. From day 1 -Eddie, Nicole, Darren, Shannon and Thais made us feel so special and left no stone unturned to ensure our day was special.
Any request, query or minor detail were dealt with, with the utmost professionalism. We cannot remember getting a 'NO' to any request that we had.

Every fine detail we discussed prior to the wedding was carried out to precision. From the ceremony, the reception, the meal and all things associated- we did not have 1 hiccup.

All the staff were so friendly with our guests, who were all so complimentary, saying that the venue was a credit.

Our bridal party stayed in the apartment complex on the eve of the wedding. To say we were treated like royalty would be an understatement. Thank you to Thais for looking after us so well on the morning of the wedding.

The best compliment we can pay Casteltroy is - if we were to get married again tomorrow, Castletroy Park 100% be our venue.

Our rooms were immaculate. The bathrooms were perfect, shining is the word. The hotel is immaculate, clean and had a lovely back garden, which is one of the reasons I picked the hotel. The lead-up to a wedding can be stressful, but Nicola and Stephen were there to answer every question and accommodate our ever-changing seating plan right up until the morning of the wedding!

We were blown away from the moment we arrived at the hotel on our wedding day. All of our expectations were surpassed. When Stephen showed us the function room, I cried. It was perfect. Stephen and his team played a blinder throughout the whole day, and we tested his patience at times, from speeches running over to never being at the top table when the food was ready to be served (there may have been panic behind the scenes) but was never felt in the room!

My Dad said to me the following day, “It was the best day of his life”, and that is all because of Stephen and his team. We highly recommend the Castletroy Park hotel for all future brides and grooms. You will not be disappointed.

The attention to detail and the friendly and outstanding customer service we received and all our family and friends received. It wasn't even just the staff on duty for our wedding, the breakfast staff, concierges, Kevin Murray, the accommodation staff, receptionists, and the list continues.

From the very moment we came to view the hotel for our wedding venue we fell in love and every moment after we became besotted.

I would also like to take this opportunity again to say that Stephen is impeccable. He looked after us and held our hands each step of the way. He dealt with everything and was honestly like a breath of fresh air. Nothing I asked of him was too much or impossible to do. We have no words today about how highly we think of him and his staff. He dealt with all our suppliers, the decor, the bridal party, family members and kept everything going and happening according to plan. He was honestly so incredible, and we are beyond grateful and extremely lucky to be able to say we had the venue, Stephen and the gang by our sides on our wedding day.

We would have never had an experience like it in any way with any other hotel. You all honestly made our wedding experience 1000 times more than what we expected.

They had amazing cocktails for our guests on arrival, and the Ham rolls at the drinks reception were a universal success. They were keeping a consistent great pace for foodservice and made sure we were taken care of at all times up until the wee hours of the morning and even at the breakfast service the following morning. It hardly felt like Covid existed on the day. Everyone relaxed and enjoyed themselves, which was due to all the staff at the hotel. The bedrooms were lovely, including the honeymoon suite, a great room for a bridal party to get ready the morning of if you chose to have a humanist ceremony in the hotel. The drinks reception area was beautifully set up. It's comfortable, well-lit, and completely separate from the hotel reception area, which was ideal for privacy and people's safety due to covid. The hotel grounds are beautiful for family photos, and we took our bridal photos on the university's grounds across the road from the hotel. They also arranged the banquet room and table settings perfectly. I have to mention Stephen and Darren, who was excellent throughout. I even left my bouquet behind me in my room, and Darren managed to track it down two days later! This venue is truly five stars!

The arrival to our wedding day was so elegantly done, Stephan was there to greet us and from there on everything ran so smoothly. He was fantastic in every way. It was a pleasure to have him looking after us on our wedding day. He just had everything under control.
Again compliments to the chef and staff. Our guests complimented our arrival reception, they were greeted with drinks. Carved ham and the selection of foods with entertainment by Noely was amazing. finally had our day on the 19th. From the moment we checked in on the 18th to the moment we checked out on the 20th, Byron, Darren and the entire staff couldn’t have done enough to make our weekend, particularly our wedding day, go any smoother.

As a bride who is a wheelchair user, I had a small issue with the initial room assigned, but Darren had the issue and myself re-allocated within minutes. On the morning of the wedding, breakfast was delivered to our rooms, and anything we required was supplied within minutes. Anything the groom required was easily handled by staff.

The outdoor setting was set up beautifully for the wedding ceremony. The grounds were perfect for accommodating our photographer, including the tiki bar where we got great photos. The meal supplied was outstanding, and the area set up for the evening section was beautiful. We were accommodated with a speaker to allow our Spotify music to be played. The bridal suite capped off a perfect weekend as we loved it.

Overall even with the heartbreak of a postponement, the hotel and its staff. In particular, Nicola, Darren and Byron ensured we had the perfect wedding day

the absolutely amazing staff at Castletroy Park Hotel!! Nicola Fagan, the Events Manager, had been incredibly helpful, right from the first tentative email I sent, wondering if it was even possible to have a small wedding reception during level 5 restrictions.

Our wedding might have been small (tiny!), but it was just perfect. The level of service was exceptional and we all felt very safe as all the staff wore masks at all times. They made us feel really special and Kevin, the Concierge, even offered to take photos of us in the garden. Our suite was pure luxury and the private dining room in which we had dinner was beautifully decorated.

So, if you are considering going ahead with a small wedding (with maybe a bigger celebration to follow when restrictions allow), we would both wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. You will feel like you had a big wedding, even though it was small in numbers!

whatever we asked for we were given. We wanted good food, good drink, good service, good space - and we got it all! The entire team were impeccable and nothing was a challenge to them. It is most definitely a hotel I would recommend to view as the decor is very modern, great colour scheme and tastefully done. We had gorgeous cherry blossom trees, flower balls, flower arrangements, chevron chairs and all organised by the hotel.

They offer a wide range of wedding packages and anything you want extra can also be done - I personally wanted my grandmother's black pudding on the menu and they added it to their menu - no questions asked! The food was divine..hats off to the chef!

We have said since our big day that we would not change one thing and that still stands - if anything I would do it all over again the exact same way!

From Nicola the wedding coordinator, Fintan and his team of chefs to Darren, Aidan and the waiting staff we were extremely happy with the level of service we received and their willingness to go above and beyond for us, nothing we asked was too much trouble for them. We worked closely with the team to put our own twist on the wedding menu and plan of the day and lots of our guests commented on the amazing food, with some even trying to get the recipes the next day as it was so delicious! We had their undivided attention regardless of how busy they were. Ideas, meetings, emails, payments, everything was just smooth sailing the whole way through. The communication was unbelievable.

As for the day/night itself, Darren made us feel like a king and queen. I have never met a person who absolutely loves his job more then he does. The day could not have gone better. He is a true perfectionist and we appreciated that.

We cannot recommend the Castletroy Park hotel highly enough. The photos taken on the site were just amazing. We would like to thank all the staff each and everyone one of you are the nicest people.

truly felt like we were the only wedding they had, they were so helpful and could not do enough for us. They gave us advice on what options have worked for previous brides & grooms and for me that was really important.
We had the cocktail drinks reception, my advice you must have this with the gin bramble! It went down a treat with our guests, and they still say it to us now. The meal was amazing, I loved the way the chef came out and carved the meat at the top table, was a real talking point. For days after the guests were saying how beautiful the meal was, one of the nicest they had at a wedding. So much so most of the guests (who are from out of town) stayed on to have lunch together the following day.
The serving staff were a credit to their managers, anything my guests asked for, they assisted.

wedding on a beach, I had the most amazing day in CPH with 200 of our nearest and dearest. I even got a dance from Darren:)

From the first meeting, Nicola put me at ease & I knew everything would be taken care of, and it was! The weeks leading up to the wedding were dealt with professionally and enthusiastically and no details were left unturned. During the food and wine tasting, we requested some personal favorites’ which were not on the menu and it wasn’t an issue (you can thank us for the dingle gin & pink grapefruit sorbet later!). Even down to the little details on the day, nothing was too big or small and everything was handled with professionalism, a smile and a huge dose of fun!

Family and friends who stayed over in the hotel for our wedding all paid compliments to the guest rooms & the general atmosphere in the hotel. They easily dealt with kids and somehow kept them all entertained (with X-boxes and giant games), the food was excellent (still wondering how all those fillet steaks were cooked to perfection!) and the ball room on the night was spectacular with all our requests met and exceeded.

Our guests had only excellent things to say about the hotel itself, the food & the staff and we would like to thank them all for making our day so much fun. To be honest, I am sad it’s all over mainly because I don’t get to hang out down there as much anymore!

Anyone thinking of booking your wedding in Limerick, just call Nicola in CPH and she & her team will take care of the rest! Honestly they are a top class operation, a pleasure to deal with and most importantly really good fun!

I can't say enough good things about the Castletroy Park! It is an amazing hotel not only for weddings but in general. My parents in law stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and ate there for the whole duration and thought the quality of food was brilliant, every meal they had was better than the one …

before! They got such a warm welcome from everyone from the cleaners in the rooms to the waiters. They will definitely be back to stay!

The wedding from the early planning stages to the day itself was excellent. Everything ran so smoothly! Nicola was amazing to deal with, nothing was an issue.. Her colleague Darren was excellent! Everything we asked for was done without any hesitation and again very smoothly.

The day was brilliant! It was obvious that the staff are a well oiled machine. Everything on the day was brilliant. All our guests commented on how great the staff were and how gorgeous the food was. Even the grace Darren said before we had dinner was lovely, short and sweet (you don't have to have this, we were asked). We were consulted on everything and there was no problem if you wanted to change anything. The bridal suite along with the junior suites that we gave to our parents and indeed the guest rooms were all beautiful and lots of the guests told us how much they liked their rooms. The breakfast was beautiful the next morning as well.

I would 100% recommend anyone to get married here. There are a few hotels in Limerick to choose from but we have no regrets whatsoever about choosing Castletroy Park! And UL is just across the road for a beautiful setting for photos. The hotel itself though is a beautiful spot for photos, we got a great one of our wedding party outside the function room before dinner while the guests were making their orders.

contacted Nicola at the Castletroy Park Hotel I knew I had made the right choice. She helped us organise the perfect celebation in their beautiful ballroom. Every detail of the event was taken care of in such a professional manner and Nicola was great at addressing any questions we had. The food was of a very high standard and a big hit with our guests. The ballroom was beautiful and the room arrangement (using half the ballroom) was pefect for our crowd of approx 80. The space also complimented the music and dancing portion of the evening wonderfully (Aidan was there on the night and made everything run smoothly, even when our band had a technical difficulty with their equiptment)!
As well as the reception itself being a success, our guests really enjoyed their stay at the hotel. As many of our guests travelled to be there, some from the USA, it was important for us that the hotel rooms and amenities were of a high standard and the Castletroy Park Hotel did not dissapoint. The Castletroy Park was recommended by a friend who had attended one of the Christmas party nights and really enjoyed the food and setup. Upon visiting and seeing the beautiful lobby area and garden room area we could easily imagine our day taking place here. On that visit we met Aidan (banquet …

manager) for the first time and he immediately put us at ease as well as proposing some great bits of advice and ideas for the big day. That set the tone for the rest of the lead up to the wedding date – helpful, professional and relaxed. The meal tasting set up a couple of months in advance was a great success and we brought all parents along so that they could meet up and also feel part of the build-up. Everyone was treated wonderfully and more importantly in the restaurant we could see that other people were getting the same beef etc. as we were so this wasn’t just a case of pulling out all the stops for a tasting but would be an accurate sign of what was to come.
Despite getting a few last minute requests thrown at them, everyone in the Castletroy Park was brilliant both in the week before the wedding and on the day itself. It was as if there were no requests too big or too small. At the drinks reception plenty of finger food was available and even more importantly the mulled wine and hot whiskeys and ports were plentiful. The fact that guests were greeted at the door with a drink was a lovely touch and meant that no-one had to go looking for anything! The lobby and bar area also meant that all of the guests were kept in the same area with plenty of seating available.
The dinner itself was fab and we received loads of compliments from people on the day and in the weeks afterwards. A standout was the gin and tonic sorbet which went down a treat – thanks Aidan for the suggestion! Thanks so much to Aidan, Nicola and Sandra and not forgetting all of the other staff who had a part to play in both the lead up and the execution of the wedding day.

perfect I could not fault any aspect. It was everything we imagined and more. If there was a Michelin star award equivalent for weddings the staff should have it!It’s 3 weeks later and our guests are still talking about what a great job everyone did. A special mention to Nicola,Aiden and Darren, it was such a relief to know that such experts were on hand to give help and advice with all aspects of the day. We never once had any worries or concerns from day one as from the first conversation we knew immediately we could put our trust in the team. The food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly and throughout the day there was such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Also, during the day our speeches were completed before the meal and Darren somehow anticipated the timing of these I still do not no how he did it!! But he knew and rang our wedding band to come earlier so there was no waiting around for them to get set up. This is just one example of how the team go the extra mile and work tirelessly in the background to make the day look effortlessly smooth. always felt as though we were in safe hands. They accommodated every request that we had and reminded us of all the smaller details that we may have overlooked, but together made our day spectacular. From the moment that we arrived, we were made feel at ease, with every effort made to ensure that all our needs were catered for. We opted for the Signature Package, which includes all the bells and whistles. The reception area included his and hers cocktails and was beautifully presented with musical accompaniment. We were lucky enough to have a dry day, so the gardens made the perfect setting for additional family and friends photographs. The meal was exceptional. From speaking to our guests, the food on served to the guests was to the same standard as the top table, which is particularly impressive considering that the beef was a fillet as opposed to a roast. After the meal, there was a seamless transition with the tables removed without a need to temporarily vacate the room. The Bridal Suite is made from 2 former suites. It is tastefully decorated, exceedingly comfortable and perfect if you need to nip away for a moments peace from the bedlam. The following day, the breakfast was fit for a king and queen with no expense spared. We were not rushed from our room and all of our gifts and decorations were safely stored. In summary, we both cannot recommend this hotel enough as a wedding venue, in particular because of the staff. The management, the wait staff, the bar staff and everyone involved was so pleasant and accommodating. In what can be an extremely stressful time, the Castletroy Park Hotel delivers without compromising on quality in any way.

badges at breakfast, the function staff. It was really important to us the guests that travelled and more importantly family were treated well and looked after and this was certainly the case and the talk of the wedding.

The function was superbly managed by Aidan. We asked for cloche service which we know is more difficult having hotel experience but it went fantastically. I would add the quality (and quantity) of the food was outstanding! It really is hard to please everyone at a wedding but even those with specific dietary requirements were delighted. The room was presented beautifully. The bar staff were so polite looked after us well.

The accommodation provided was fab, we actually regret not staying here longer to make the best of it. It really is completed to a high standard!

Breakfast- Amazing. So much to choose from- opinion of guests too.

Afternoon tea- Again fab. We did this the next day with the in laws- lovely idea to have some more intimate time with family and reminisce on the stories of the previous day. Fabulously served by a lovely lady who explained each and every addition. Would definitely recommend this.

I know I looked on here regularly when looking to book our wedding so for anyone on the fence- do it! All the guests felt like a million dollars (which helped us to relax), THE STAFF AND SERVICE couldn't have been better and the hotel is so stylish.

wedding. For Mark nothing was a problem, we were in awe of him on the day for his professionalism and patience. Needless to say there is a whole team including Aidan, Sharif, Kevin and all the staff who added to the experience for us in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself and the day after.
Guests are still talking about the fabulous cocktails (thanks to Aidan), for the drinks reception and the choice and quality of the food throughout the day. Many have said it is the best quality and choice they have ever had at a wedding and are still talking about it. One of our biggest challenges was narrowing down the menu options. The menu tasting, a very enjoyable occasion in itself, helped with this enormously. The food was absolutely 5 Star and the cloche service added to the occasion. There was a play area for children during the meal which was a mega hit!
We stayed the next night and did not have any definite plans in advance but once we had numbers an area of the conservatory was reserved for us and guests. We had a great meal and a relaxing evening, expertly looked after again by Kevin and Sharif. Guests who stayed at the Hotel were fulsome in their praise of all aspects of their stay.
It is said that people do not remember you for what you said or what you did but for how you made them feel! When it comes to our Wedding Day at the Castletroy Park we were made to feel on top of the world from start to finish! His words were "A1". We wanted to give our family, friends and guests a day to remember and I think I can safely say that we did that. On the day of our wedding it fell to Aidan to be our coordinator for the happy day and what he and his team done to accommodate our guests and the detail shown in the ball room was exquisite down to the smallest detail like the greeting cards that were attached to the forks on the dinner tables all of which had lived in my brides head for ten months the whole team pulled the whole lot together and brought my brides wish to life.
