every one our guests agreed that the experience and service was faultless at every level. We felt so special (and more importantly relaxed) on the big day because we knew everything was completely under control. The ceremony was set up beautifully down in the gorgeous gazebo and the reception room was simply stunning. It was better than we could have ever imagined. It was a day to cherish and we can’t imagine having done it anywhere else. The setting is magnificent and it truly is a magical place. I’d like to give a special mention to the waiting staff and the bar staff who were professionals while also being so much fun to chat to. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone felt so well looked after. Every time we think back on the day we are so happy we chose the Connemara Coast as the place to finally tie the knot. Thanks to everyone at the Coast for giving us the best day of our lives.

start to finish was easy and enjoyable. The operations manager Michael couldn't have done more for us even the breakfast staff the next morning were so friendly and helpful. Our room was incredible and the views were out of this world. We had all our wedding pictures taken on site which saved so much time. We are just blown away by the service. I could not recommend enough.

perfect picture. Outside you are literally on the bay overlooking all of Connemara, the views are breathtaking and we were incredibly lucky to be able to get married outside overlooking the sea. Brian, Saoirse and the whole team made us feel so relaxed and you could chat to them like normal people while also being made to feel like you were in the hands of professionals and wow did they deliver on the day! Every single detail was taken care of from start to finish, our guests raved about the delicious food, the kindness of every staff member they encountered but especially the incredible backdrop of the sea for the ceremony and the reception. Brian made us feel totally at ease and ensured every detail was tended to, nothing was too much trouble and the entire day was just so perfect from start to finish. Thank you so much to the entire team at the Connemara Coast Hotel for the most magical day of our lives, I can't recommend them enough as the most perfect place and can't wait to come back and visit!

The venue itself is a recently refurbished, high quality and well maintained hotel with scenery of Galway Bay that speaks for itself and only added to our guests experiences.

We loved being at a wedding venue that had staff from the locality and you could feel the family like atmosphere in the hotel and it made us and all of our guests feel at home.

The wedding room itself is backed onto a view of Galway Bay that will have your guests in awe when they see it and it comfortably accommodated our 214 guests and the adjacent bar was non stop throughout the day but was well staffed to cope with large numbers.

The food standards at the meal time, breakfast times, in the front bar and at our after party BBQ were all exceptional and the delivery of them was impressive considering there were 3 weddings on the same weekend as ours.

With regards to accommodation of special requests Chloe, our wedding coordinator, could not have been more helpful and almost anything we asked for was given a "Not a problem" response. We were allowed the freedom to make our day special and unique to us and the set up staff of the Connemara Coast done a great job of setting up the room and all of our unique items, even though it was outside their job scope.

Cannot rate our experience highly enough! As a couple, we wanted a venue that was a little bit more "country" than your castle venues and city based hotel venues and the Connemara Coast provided the perfect blend of a high quality hotel with fantastic rooms and roots in the community of Furbo in Galway allowing a better atmosphere for all of our guests!

The staff are so friendly and professional, the Wedding Manager Chloe O Neill is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, she has such a calm presence and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Her kindness and understanding made it so easy to plan the perfect day. And it was the perfect day in every way, Chloe was there to meet us on arrival and to ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day, the function room looked magnificent, she is simply the best and it's no surprise that this hotel won Best Wedding Venue in Connacht 2021.
No words can fully describe just how fantastic the Connemara Coast Hotel is, it has a magic that draws you back and we return every chance we get.

On the wedding day itself, it felt fantastic to be in the hands of real professionals. From the moment we stepped through the door, they handles everything for us, effortlessly guiding us from one part of the day to the next while also ensuring we took time out for ourselves to enjoy every moment as much as possible. They also effectively liaised with all our suppliers on the day, like the band, photo booth and many more. Everything came together perfectly.

At very short notice on our part, they also provided us with a lovely less formal space to enjoy ourselves on 'Day 2'.

All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything more from the day and from the team at the hotel. We are so thankful to them for the most amazing weekend and for helping us celebrate with our family and friends! We would highly recommend Connemara Coast Hotel to anyone!

This is a very beautiful place with a fantastic views of the ocean.

Our winter wedding was perfect. The Connemara Coast Hotel team were accommodating and enthusiastic throughout the planning process. We were able to add as much or as little of our own personal touches as we wanted. When our wedding was postponed due to lockdown, they were flexible and supportive and we never lost hope that our day would still be amazing. It’s the perfect location for amazing photos, so many great spots inside and out. Everyone loved the food! Literally nothing bad to say about this incredible venue

The staff went above and beyond to help us and the whole day and night went so well, and the venue looked amazing! All the staff did an excellent job always answering our emails and questions and were very kind and welcoming to us both and all our guests. Our host for the day was also unreal! She went above and beyond to help us out with anything and was very accommodating with any changes and keeping everything else on schedule. So thank you Chloe. The food was also amazing and we had so much excellent feedback from our guests about the food from start to finish and how great the room was set up and the Connemara Coast Hotel as a whole. Would definitely recommend!

the location was just perfect for us. We didn't look at any other hotel once we saw the Connemara Coast Hotel.

We were planning on a small intimate wedding, restrictions or not, and had 12 for our ceremony, and 60 for our reception. Both function rooms for the civil ceremony and reception were beautifully decorated, very elegant and classic just how I wanted. The views out of the function room are amazing.

We used the gazebo for wedding shots, and I'm sure they will come out amazing. We had Santa call the guest for dinner, which was a nice treat for the kiddies. The food was excellent, and it came out quick, with lovely presentation. No one's wine glass was empty, the staff came around quick enough to top it up. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. The suite we had was beautifully decorated, and very spacious which was great for me as I used it to get ready in. There was plenty of room for the hairdresser and make-up artist to do their thing. I have had people say to me they are going to look into Connemara Coast Hotel now, after being at my wedding. It really is a lovely venue for a wedding. I can't recommend it enough.

to the wedding, and as we planned out the finer details, there was no request that was too big or too small.
Chloe, Johnathan (the General Manager) and their team were on hand on the day and looked after us and our guests so well. The main comments we got from guests after the wedding were how amazing the hotel was, including the rooms, the ballroom and the setting (AMAZING views from the ballroom!). Also how good the food was on the day of the wedding and over the course of the weekend, and how helpful and friendly the staff were. We agree wholeheartedly with all of these comments and further want to add how incredible the staff were. From Chloe to Johnathan, Anne at Reception (who was always so warm, friendly and welcoming), Ranko, Mark, Alan, the chef, to name a few, and all of the catering, restaurant and bar staff, everyone there is such a credit to the hotel and really made the weekend special for us.
We have some great memories of our wedding weekend at Connemara Coast Hotel. My husband Niall and I will be back to the hotel, as will a lot of our guests in the future. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a venue. It truly has it all.

They also liaised efficiently and effectively with all our suppliers on the day (band, photo booth etc.) with everything coming together perfectly. guests have been raving about the food in the week since - including the veggie options!

At very short notice on our part, they also provided us with a lovely less formal space to enjoy ourselves on 'day 2' and again our guests were very impressed with the food that night too!

All in all, We couldn't have asked for anything more from the day and from the team at the hotel and we are so, so thankful to them all for the most amazing weekend celebrating with our family and friends! We would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a civil ceremony in the function room, so the day of the wedding was amazing. The bridesmaids and I decided to stay in the hotel the night before, and it was the best decision ever. From the first thing in the morning, we were treated like royalty. All the staff were very helpful and checked in on us regularly. Before the ceremony we wanted to do a 'first look', so Chloe cleared out the reception area, and set it up perfectly for the photography. She even recorded it for us and sent it on right away, it is the only recording we have of it so it meant a lot. The function room was laid out beautifully for the ceremony, and the views across the bay are out of this world.
The meal was fantastic, and the staff all around were top class. Catherine and the team made sure we were looked after all evening. Our two boys, 6 and 8, were also treated like royalty. They really got to feel a part of the day, which was something that was important to us. The staff made sure they were kept happy all day. We would highly recommend Connemara Coast Hotel, we are so happy we chose this venue!

were able to include everything we wanted to do. They were very encouraging throughout both the planning of the day, and the day itself.
The tasting menu was a great idea, as it made it easier for us to choose what we, our guests and family would enjoy most.
On the day of the wedding, the reception area was really good as it was separate from the main hotel, which meant we had privacy throughout our reception. The staff were very helpful throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even to the point of Brian helping us get our slide show going when disaster struck with the connection to the projector!
All of our guests commented on how fantastic the food was, they were so impressed with the location of the hotel and the views of the sea and County Clare. We had a brilliant evening, and there was no pressure on us to leave the reception room towards the end of the evening. The clean-up staff waited patiently until everyone left to finish their work.
The honeymoon suite, where we stayed in was amazing and so comfortable. We were lucky enough to stay for a second night, and we really felt like we were on our honeymoon. We absolutely loved the sitting room area most of all, although the balcony was also a bonus, giving us great views of the sea.
Despite Covid restrictions, we had the day we really wanted and planned to have. Everything went perfectly, and we have magical memories to last us a lifetime.

The wedding itself was absolutely unreal and so much more than we expected. We knew we were in good hands, but they blew us away on the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and every member of staff were so kind and lovely. The food was the main talking point after the wedding, it was 5*. Ranko, the restaurant manager, met us at the meal tasting and was there at our wedding day too, making sure every thing went smoothly. It couldn't have gone better, the food was incredible and the best we had at a wedding. We were also told that by many guests. You truly are the centre of their focus on your wedding day, and nothing is too much for them. We know you will get tons of business from our wedding guests, because everyone has mentioned either the food or how lovely the staff were. expected. We were completely blown away, and I really thing that is down to the venue and team at Connemara Coast. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, our guests and us were completely looked after. Everything was handled for us. The food was amazing and the function room was truly one of the nicest function rooms that I have ever been in. The setting that the hotel is in speaks for itself. The Connemara Coast reaches all the way down the shoreline and they have a beautiful gazebo where we got beautiful pictures. Our suppliers from the day also said Chloe and the team were a dream to work with, and they are looking forward to more weddings there in the future.
We are still getting phone calls from our guests to say they really enjoyed the weekend, and that the hotel was fabulous. We are very happy to have chosen Connemara Coast Hotel as our wedding venue, and would highly recommend it to other couples that are looking for a relaxed day. Connemara Coast is a gem, and I look forward to revisiting as soon as possible. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would!

Not to mention this was in the middle of the lockdown, and we were also organising this from abroad. She put us completely at ease, and we knew from the start it was the right decision to go with Connemara Coast.

Throughout the whole process, one thing that none of us could control were the amount of people that were allowed by the government to be present. Chloe was very understanding of this fact, and we made it clear that we would be happy with whatever number was permitted.

Due to us living abroad, we were only able to make it for the food tasting on Monday July 26th, with the wedding on Saturday August 7th. On this day we finalised all the last details with Chloe, and we were all prepared to have 50 guests. It was later that evening the government increased the capacity allowed to 100 guests. Due to how close it was to the wedding day, many people who we initially had uninvited could not make it, giving us a guest list of 76. Chloe was completely understanding of this fact, and it was no issue for the hotel.

The wedding day went perfectly, with everyone very complimentary of the amazing staff. The food was amazing (the lamb was the nicest I have had), and we had a great day and night. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the weather we wanted, but we were still able to get some amazing photos down at the gazebo and by the water.

Chloe and the hotel as a whole exceeded our expectations more than we could have ever imagined. We could not recommend more highly to have a wedding here.

our date but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have constant contact with them the whole time. Every time an announcement came out I knew I’d be getting a call or email from Chloe keeping us updated. The views from the ballroom are breath-taking and I can still remember when we viewed it, if we wanted our dinner on the roof they would make it happen no questions asked. We both would like to thank the whole team but especially Chloe who really went out of her way to keep us in the loop during such a stressful and scary time. We’ll be back when they are fully open again for sure!

fantastic wedding coordinator ensuring no stone is left unturned. We knew immediately we were in safe hands. Similar to most 2020 wedding couples our journey of getting married was not without stress but Chloe was always at hand to answer any queries we had.

As a hotel the Connemara coast hotel is a dream. From the beautiful and private aran suite ballroom to the friendly and mannerly staff, the delicious food, the marvellous bedrooms, to the outstanding and amazing views of Galway bay, I simply cannot fault the hotel. The Connemara coast hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts having created such fantastic memories there. We really enjoyed all of our pre-wedding trips to the hotel and look forward to visiting the coast again in the future.

It is a beautifully balanced hotel being so close to Galway city and also having that wonderful Connemara feel. It is equally classic and modern. The food is exquisitely cooked and to the liking of all guests. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel and the local area - always presenting in the most professional manner and predominantly being from the local area.

Our wedding was an absolute success and I thank the Connemara coast hotel for making that happen. We received so many compliments in relation to the hotel staff, the beautiful aran suite ballroom and the food served at our wedding. We would highly recommend the Connemara coast hotel to any couple considering it as their wedding venue.

Originally, we were to have a much bigger wedding but due to Covid19 we had to rethink our plans. We had to downsize our numbers with a week to go which did not make the journey easy! However all the help, support, advice and time we received from Chloe the wedding coordinator made our wedding journey that bit easier and took the extra stress away.

On the day, all the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, something which all our guests commented on. The quality of the food and service was fantastic. We were blessed with the weather and got stunning pictures both outside and inside.

Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely weekend. Special thanks to Mark the Bar Manager for all his help and advice along the way and lastly to Chloe, thank you for all you done for us, from the surprise extra little touches on the day, to always being at the end of the phone with help and advice, we truly appreciated it all.

We were so happy to be able to use the gazebo (which was by the sea) for the ceremony. It was so beautiful and such a perfect setting. The views are really fantastic. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and helpful too. There was a playground at the hotel which was a huge hit with the children at the wedding. Although the day was different to what we had planned, we couldn't have asked for anything more from Chloe and all the staff.

We got fantastic compliments from our guests on the standard of food and excellent service that was offered throughout the night.

Above all, the staff in the Connemara Coast were so accommodating to all of our needs and requests. Everyone in the bar, restaurant and reception were so kind and helpful in the lead up to the big day and Jonathan, the General Manager, was very welcoming and generous with his time. Chloe, the wedding coordinator, is one of a kind. She made our wedding planning journey so enjoyable and stress free. She was always there with advice and help when we needed her and was very professional in everything she did for us. Thanks again Chloe!!

the perfect backdrop for celebrations and photos. The hotel has ample accommodation and a spa for those guests who want to chill out in the hot tub while overlooking the Atlantic. On a clear day, the Aran Islands are visible. The hotel staff are wonderful and accommodating. Chloe, the wedding co-ordinator is top-notch! No question will go unanswered. She replies and deals with every query, which is what you want when you are planning a wedding! We got great compliments from our guests about the food and wine. We all really enjoyed our wedding banquet!

second we started talks about booking our wedding, right through to the day after our special day. We really felt valued and no stone was left un-turned in their efforts to make our day and roaring success.

The final part of the jigsaw was the food. After sampling what the standard of the food was in the front bar and restaurant we knew we were on a winner. Every single guest raved about the quality and taste of the food on our day and the service by all staff and management was simply impeccable.

We can honestly say we haven't got one single complaint in all aspects of our wedding from start to finish and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.
