food as we would have liked, but what we did taste was incredible. We did however enjoy every mouthful of the main meal; Every course was delicious. Thanks so much for putting so much effort into our menu, it all went down a real treat.

Thank you for looking after every little detail; The whole place looked amazing, and was exactly what we wanted. Please thank all of the servers and team who helped with putting everything together, they were all so friendly and so efficient the whole night.

And another thank you to the team for gathering all of our stuff back up together for us to bring home the next day, that was so helpful and everything was looked after with so much care.

We couldn't be happier with how our day went and you're a huge part of that so thank you so much again.

had so many people tell us it was the best wedding the have ever attended and so happy that it was local. The food was amazing and everyone was so impressed that everyone got fed at the same time, there was no waiting around for ages for your food while the other tables were eating. - People really appreciated this!

You have been so helpful over the last 2.5 years answering all our queries, questions, uncertainties and always were there to guide us when needed.

We really can not thank you enough and will highly recommend the Glenside hotel to everyone who is planning their wedding in the future. Your package you offer really is amazing and saved us so much work and organising of suppliers that it really left us time to organise all the details.

was amazing, and the staff could not do enough for us and our guests. Our friends and family raved for weeks about how incredible everything was.
The nice thing about The Glenside is that it’s a family run business and the personal touch is felt very much by both Karen & Aogan.

Everything leading up to the day was full of excitement for my wife and I, and on the day itself, we were treated so kindly by the Glenside. Karen, Aogán and their team are absolute professionals... but what really set them apart for us, was that they were so wonderful with all of our guests, having fun and ensuring everyone was looked after. The day that's in it, is so busy and stressful for couples and the fact that they spent so much time ensuring our guests were looked after really shows their dedication and passion for their work. the food was exceptional and the staff were brilliant!
They made it all look so effortless..and when they saw we needed a rest from the photos, they sat us down with drinks and a chance to catch our breath!
Their wedding package is expertly crafted and it is easily fitted to every couple. You can choose exactly what you want, but it does take a lot of the work out, leaving so much time to enjoy the build up.
Every staff member in this hotel makes it such a personal experience on your wedding day- it feels like home!

we knew we would need a place to cater for all our needs and they did just that.. every meeting was easy, no fuss and straight forward. The photographer was so lovely, he stayed all morning with the girls and I before heading to the venue. The food was gorgeous as usual, people go here just for the food.

can accommodate any kind of party. There were so many little touches added that really made a difference. The food went down a treat too. The main thing though was Karen and her staff, they could not have done anymore for us on the run up and on the night and I truly had a perfect wedding do :)

arrangements and ensuring that the day was family-oriented.
The suppliers were great and the staff members on hand were brilliant. The personal touches to our room were 100%. The printed menu with our wedding photo on the wedding table was a great surprise and really wonderful. The menu we chose had a lot to offer, and every single person loved the good hearty food.

Also we can't thank the rest of the staff members for all their hard work, they were unbelievable. They just couldn't have done enough to make our day so special. They were so welcoming, helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the hotel, and some of our guests did too, and we all really loved it. The rooms and hotel have been done up and it is just fabulous. It looked really lovely on our very special day, and the garden and the flowers were amazing for the photos. It was the most happy and relaxed day for us, our family, friends and guests.

We had the most amazing, perfect day and we are so glad that we choose The Glenside hotel as our wedding venue.

Anyone thinking of having a wedding or getting married would be mad not to pick this hotel. Highly recommended. We are lucky to have venue like this on our doorstep.

elegant and private. Our day was amazing from start to finish. The team at The Glenside is truly amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Our suppliers that came with the package were magnificent: our cake and flowers were beautiful and our photographer was so amazing and such a gentleman. My one fear was that with such an amazing package for an amazing price that the suppliers wouldn’t be top notch but how wrong I was. They are all like one big massive family and are so amazing to have to deal with.

We really can’t thank The Glenside enough. They are definitely an amazing venue for a wedding as we wouldn’t have changed a thing.

a lovely atmosphere. Barry's mam suggested we consider it as a wedding venue as there was 17 rooms also which was also an advantage.

A couple of weeks later we met Karen and after that meeting we never looked back, we were so excited to get married in the Glenside and we chose the package that included the florist, photographer, cake, band and DJ.

Karen and Aogan were extremely supportive throughout the journey to our wedding day. No request was too small or too big. They were always very attentive and any questions or queries were always answered so promptly. Everything was done in such a professional manner but with also warmth and care.
We had a tasting a month before the wedding, we knew that day the guests would be in good hands. I only asked my dad today what he chose and he told me the beef while commenting that nobody could have complained about the food and that his friends have been back for dinner since already. Being a vegetarian myself and having vegetarian friends, the choices are incredible and the the kids are so well catered for too. At the tasting ,our menus were personalized, a lovely surprise and it was a special memory for us.

We had the most incredible day, Karen ,Aogan and the beautiful Christine were there to support from start to finish. The décor was a fairy-tale, so much attention to detail, absolutely breath-taking, personalized menus again, really special. The band, DJ had guests not leave the floor. The florist, cake and photographer did an amazing job with care and warmth also.
The bridal suite and rooms were beautiful. All our guests have commented about how lovely the day was, we could not recommend the Glenside, their staff and suppliers enough.

From the flowers, cake, décor, band, DJ and Photographer – the group of people you work with are all so professional and brilliant and as for your team of staff……no words can say just how hard they work and how much they go out of their way for every single person on the day…. beautifully for the ceremony. Afterwards, we had a lovely indoor/outdoor reception with lovely drinks and canapés.

All day, we were so well looked after, as were all our guests.

When it came to the meal, this was when the individual attention, assistance and overall kindness of the hotel owner and staff really shone. We had a 2 month old baby who was giving out before the speeches, one of the staff members took them for a walk in their pram to help to settle them. We couldn't believe the kindness! We wanted to do our speeches before the meal and this was facilitated for us. There was nothing that we asked for that was too much trouble. And most things, we didn't need to ask but it was thought of for us.

The food was superb! All of our guests commented on it. And the service of the food and wine was prompt and on time. No one was waiting for any length of time.

We were unable to have a live music band due to Covid restrictions at the time. The hotel kindly facilitated us to have our own playlist through their systems which was so great.

The rooms were lovely, clean, comfortable. Everything was facilitated for us, with 4 children too! The next morning, the breakfast was great and again, positive comments all round.

I would highly recommend the Glenside Hotel for a wedding. It was a wonderful venue and everything about was magical!

There is a real boutique feel to the hotel. The staff are so friendly, and all of our guests commented on the amazing food. We danced the night away to the House Band Clockwize. Glenside Hotel made us feel like we made the best choice in going with them which it was. We don't know how many times myself or Rosie rang the Glenside to speak with Karen or Agon and they always were at the end of the phone to guide us through our big day and gave us ideas what we could do. The big day itself came and from start to finish we could not fault anything nothing was too much for the staff and the wedding band Clockwise was amazing, they had everyone on the dance floor all of the night. The flowers were amazing and so was the wedding cake. It's a good idea the way the Glenside do a package deal for anyone getting married. I have to say we really did feel like we were part of the Glenside family from day one. We would really like to thank Karen, Agon and all of the Glenside staff for giving us all the best day we could have asked for, will definitely will be back very soon .

their best to accommodate every request and were always very responsive. We didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding, and they even included extra touches that we hadn’t requested. Jennifer was on top of keeping us informed and running things past us before making decisions on the day, and overall she and the staff were phenomenal. The bridal party and immediate family stayed in the hotel the night before and day-of, making everything much more convenient and low stress. The food was amazing and the guests were raving about it (be sure to include the mushroom soup in your menu!) even down to the kids food. The air conditioned main room was a lifesaver as we happened to pick the hottest day of the year! It was an unforgettable day and the Glenside helped make it possible.

Karen and her team couldn't do enough for us. Felt at home as soon as we arrived. Special thanks to Christine and Anne for saving the day we had a dress emergency and they took over and sorted everything. Jenny where do I start ? Honestly she's now part of my family just brilliant. Jennifer did so much I honestly thought she was the owners daughter. Amazing staff too many to mention, Courtney so helpful.
The food wow. Beautiful and plentiful you won't go hungry in the Glenside. We had the all inclusive package which I'd recommend. Even their supplier's were amazing. The photographer was so helpful. Whether you're Irish or looking to have your wedding in Ireland do not pass the Glenside I promise you you'll not regret it.
It's like Pandora's box, outside looks small, you then walk into the most beautiful friendly hotel. Every single guest commented on how wonderful the hotel is. One of my guests is a beef farmer and said the beef was the nicest beef he had ever tasted. I'd like to thank Lance too for getting us teas and coffee all through the night. As I said every member of staff were amazing.

served by the best a special mention to Shirley who looked after my son who is autistic, I had explained the situation and she made sure he was well looked after. Our great bar staff Maya Katie and Jennifer who looked after us all night, we really got to know them on a personal level too they were just so nice. Our band Clockwize and dj ended our night as we bopped the night away the floor wasn’t emptied once.

although the suite could cater for a much larger wedding, the attention to detail and table set up made the room perfect for our guest numbers, without us looking lost in the room.
Karen, Aogán and their amazing staff couldn't do enough for us. From the time we met with Aogán to the day after our wedding nothing was a hassle and everything went as perfect as it could. The staff on the day were nothing but helpful and friendly and nothing any of guests asked was too much trouble. We genuinely couldn't praise them enough, they really went above and beyond for us, to setting up a beautiful memorial table for my brother's picture, to doing up a sweet table for our smaller guests and all other tiny personal touches.

We planned our wedding in 3 months and Karen and Aogán made it effortless, they were always contactable with instant replies to emails.

As a wedding venue we couldn't fault anything. The food was out of this world and all our guests commented on the quality and choice of food on offer.

her suitcase at Dublin airport and Christine at reception spent 2 hours on the phone trying to help her. The food was beautiful and loads commented this. They have wedding functions down to a T. Everyone from the owners to the person helping us, Jennifer, on our day was so helpful. The staff kept us on track all day. I really would book here again if I needed to. Everyone from management to waiting staff were amazing and friendly.

ceremony was beautifully arranged to a high standard. Our 5 course meal was fantastic and served effortlessly by the hotel's brilliant staff, with a special thanks to Shirley who was one of the very special ladies who helped make our day beyond perfect. photographer, the cake to the coverings in the room it all felt like a fairytale. Nothing was out of reach for us. Many emails and phone calls back and forth and we always felt as special as we did even when we first booked our original wedding date. Everything ran so smoothly.
