All the staff went above & beyond to help make our day special, ensuring that we had our nibbles & bubbles when returning from our photos.
Very impressed that they took care of those that needed a little extra assistance & for those that had dietary requirements to ensure that they were served.

The leisure facilities are also amazing; kept spotless, very inviting; the pool is especially enjoyable and relaxing. With such a wonderful set-up it must be said that it is the owner, management and staff that bring the hotel and the experience to a whole other level, brimming with an exceptionally attentive, efficient, wholesome and fun manner and approach. Their welcome, warmth and attention to detail is outstanding. We felt valued from the very beginning and very quickly realised how well we were going to be looked after in every way from the initial booking stages to the big day and beyond. We wanted to do things a little bit different from the norm. We requested having platters of a selection of meats, cheeses and breads as our stater followed by the hotel's 'Deluxe Barbeque'. Months later our family and guests are still talking about the amazing choices, the wonderful experience of something different. The food was absolutely amazing, cooked and served to perfection, so tasty!!! An absolute treat, even beyond our expectations. We also requested having Bacon Buty's and Tayto sandwiches later on in the evening; this also went down an amazing hit!! We, along with close family members stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding and for a few days afterwards. We were treated like royalty throughout. From start to finish the hotel was faultless, Natasha kept in touch regularly beforehand and put our minds at ease with any queries we had. Ronan treated us like old friends as did the rest of the staff. We felt like we got the best of both worlds, a professional touch but yet a friendly and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The food on the day was impeccable, my mum wants to go back to the hotel and get the same dinner again!
The bar staff were incredible on the day, they were all so efficient and again, nothing was too much for them.
People always say "something will go wrong on your wedding day" I can honestly say, nothing went wrong for us, and that's 100% down to the professionalism of the staff. I have never been anywhere where the staff seemed so genuinely happy doing their jobs, it was lovely to have everyone smiling all day.

When our wedding finally came around, we were greeted with champagne and smiles, and the team were on hand to orchestrate the day with perfect precision. The food, drinks reception, timings - all perfect. Our guests still talk about the butternut squash and chorizo soup! The meal on the day was the best I’ve ever had at any wedding - and I’m not being biased. The hotel itself was perfect, the views from the bridal suite are extraordinary on a clear day like we were lucky enough to have. The bar staff were patient and cheerful to my in-laws who were slow to leave, and at breakfast we had similar experiences with smiling friendly faces and people who couldn’t do enough to make our wedding so special. The final memory I have is the staff leaving a care package of food for guests staying in the lodges, when they knew shops would be not open for those who had just landed from England. I always wanted that photo on the stairs in front of a Christmas tree and with a tree that went up to the next floor, I was guaranteed that shot! on her scheduled days off. All of this was true before covid and the same stands for when it started to affect weddings. Even though our wedding was still a few months out when we went into lockdown, Alison reached out to let us know that she would let us know if things developed on her side. She did this and more. With every new restriction, she came with a solution, and nothing was too much trouble.

On the day, everyone commented on how even though there were only 50 people in the room, it felt full because of how it had been laid out. The food was out of this world; all of our guests still mention it and how it wasn't like typical wedding food - the standard was exceptional, and it was perfect from starter to dessert to evening food. The packages on offer were by far the most well rounded and best value that we had seen across the venues we went to see, with a lot of options available for each course - it actually made it extremely difficult to pick!

Alison, Ronan and the team made sure everything ran smoothly for the whole day, and if any issues needed to be dealt with, we didn't even know! Their professionalism and exceptional standards are second to none. Alison promised us the best day ever when we met her, and it was delivered by the bucketload. right fit for us. Every idea we had she responded too with enthusiasm and positivity, never saying 'no' and even giving us better suggestions and ideas. The whole way through the planning process, Alison supported us. Alison put together a personalised wedding package for us so we didn't have to force ourselves into a package that we didn't want.

To explain the professionalism and flexibility of the The Kinsale Hotel & Spa, on the week prior to the wedding on the 16th of March each single day brought a new development because of COVID-19. There were a number of restrictions put in place that we could not foresee. The venue was great with dealing with it all, taking everything in stride and adapting the plan without having to be asked by putting protection measures in place even though there weren't any published at the time. The venue dealt with all issues that came up on the day such as the band not being able to play and very reduced guest numbers.

We had a fantastic day and enjoyed every aspect of it, the whole team at the venue made sure that the day was great and let us put our own personal touch on it through decorations, music, photo presentation and having a BBQ as the main meal. The function room really met all of our needs and There was a great view of Oysterhaven Bay and the grounds, letting in plenty of natural light. THE FOOD AND DRINK WAS DELICIOUS and the staff were very professional and friendly. All of the guests still tell us what a great day that they had.

We loved our experience at the Kinsale Hotel and Spa and would not have changed it for the world, would definitely recommend.
