We got married in Knockranny House Hotel in December 2023. From the moment we viewed the hotel Claire and Anna could not have been more helpful. They made organising a wedding stress-free - any questions we had they had an answer for.

The meal was delicious and served at the times promised, …

allowing our night to run smoothly. We had people with dietary requirements and they were so well catered for, as were the children in the bridal party. All our wedding guests only had positive things to say about their experience in the hotel.

I could not recommend Knockranny House Hotel enough, Claire and Anna are amazing people to work with.

I could just go on and on with how amazing she was. The hotel itself is fabulous. From the minute I walked in to view Knockranny, I knew this was where we wanted to get married. The ballroom is stunning, the reception/cocktail lounge is such a lovely bonus to have. Somewhere where our guests could all relax and be together before dinner. The food is exceptional, to this day, people still talk about how good the food was at our wedding. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable and feel luxurious. The staff were & are so attentive, always checking to see did we need anything throughout the day.

The day went perfectly and we will always look back on our wedding day with such happiness. This is thanks to all the help we received from numerous people throughout the build-up and on the day but our day would not have been perfect only for Claire!

The staff at Knockranny House Hotel were attentive and helpful throughout our wedding journey. Claire and Anna were particularly supportive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with care and professionalism. Their dedication made us feel valued and supported. A special mention to Adrian and Geraldine Noonan, the hotel owners, who were very welcoming and added a personal touch to the day.

We were impressed by the level of service provided. Claire and Anna guided us through the planning process smoothly, addressing our concerns and accommodating our requests. Their attention to detail was commendable.

The food at Knockranny House Hotel was excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, leaving a lasting impression on our guests.

I have never been to a venue where every single member of staff is so friendly, accomodating and helpful. Everyone during the build up, on the day and the days after seemed so genuinely happy for us and this added to how perfect our wedding was. The general food service, speed and quality was better than we could have hoped. The venue looked so beautiful and everyone was so accomodating considering we had a lot of our own individual requests. When me and Natalie arrived at the Knockranny after our church service and drove up to see the red carpet, all of the staff lined to clap us in and toast our new marriage with a glass of champagne it was truly one of the most special moments of the best day of our lives.

It would have not been possible without Claire & Anna. In my speech I said that they had both made us feel like we were the only wedding they had ever planned and this is the best compliment I could pay. No task was too big and no favour was too far. You did everything we asked and more and we will be forever grateful for how special you made our day. You are both absoloute super heroes and I don't know how you both did it but we are both so thankful and stuggle to find the words to explain just how grateful we are.

We came into the process with high expectations and we were not disappointed. We would like to particularly mention their dedicated wedding coordinator Clare, who went above and beyond for us and is one of the most efficient, accommodating people I have ever met. From our first viewing of the venue to our recent return for our first anniversary, we were looked after to the highest of standards. The planning process was made stress-free and was very well organised which put us at ease. The food was exquisite, our guests were highly impressed with the menu on the day. Claire because I wanted everything to go smoothly on our wedding day and I wanted it to be exactly right so nothing could go wrong. Claire did not disappoint!

From the first meeting we just knew we wanted to get married at Knockranny, the venue is beautiful, the food is incredible and Claire made it clear from the start that nothing would be a problem - it turned out she was more organised than me and that's saying something!

From allowing us to cut our wedding cake with a sword (yes a real-life sword) to personally escorting us to where we needed to be on the day; providing us with food literally served on a silver platter in the cold weather so we could have a break from the photographers - Claire did it all. Our daughter got overwhelmed during the reception before dinner, Claire personally held up the chef (thank you again) from serving dinner until we got her settled with a babysitter and even got us to sit down for a couple of minutes before we entered the dinner hall and gave us a much-needed glass of prosecco!

Claire and Anna were always on the other end of the phone when we needed anything answered or emailed within the day with regards to room bookings and changing things we needed done before the wedding day and never once made us feel like anything was too much.

They were always so polite, so kind and really genuinely helped with some ideas of their own!

The chef made the nicest duck I've ever had in my life and our guests were delightfully shocked when he offered second helpings to everyone on a platter at the end of our wedding meal.

We already can't wait to go back for our first wedding anniversary, thank you so much for making our dream come true.

As you would we kept looking around at other venues but we found ourselves always comparing to Knockranny, but nothing could and we knew instantly that Knockranny House was our dream venue. From the moment we stepped inside the doors even up to now weeks after the wedding! Claire was nothing short of brilliant, nothing was ever too much, too big or too small. We were blown away. I could honestly speak all day about Claire. AMAZING! She was always available to us either via email phone or even to pop in. We felt like we could have been the only couple in the hotel! From the food tasting and nights stay, to the wedding day and the days in between. Claire facilitated us a couple of days early to start decorating and ship stuff to the hotel. We cannot recommend Claire and all her staff enough! The food on the day was fantastic, overall the organisation of the whole day was STUNNING. Everything went so smoothly as perfect as could be. Our guests couldn't believe such a stunning place existed, the views the food the rooms, absolutely everything was MAGICAL. AGAIN I could go on all day with how brilliant Claire and all the staff have been for us. The venue had figured that in our best interests we should procure our own and they were superb in executing that plan!
We had a 2 day event and this was managed to precision by Claire and her experienced team…..leaving us to enjoy the occasion with no fuss!
All of our (200) guests were blown away with the quality of the food and efficiency of the service at the Wedding Meal and again at the buffet the following day.
The accommodation in the venue is top notch, furnished to a luxurious standard throughout.
The setting was absolutely perfect for wedding photos with the hotel itself nestled in the foothills of Croak Patrick overlooking the quaint picturesque town of Westport, Co Mayo.
We could not recommend this venue enough if you are planning your Big Day - 5 stars superb !!

We only had a small intimate wedding, as it was my second one. There were just 20 of us but Knockranny House made us feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble. We all wanted to sit together, they organised the table for us. The venue, food and accommodation were excellent. Rate 5/5

We were recommended the Knockranny after we chatted with a few venues in Dublin. I (the bride) found the Dublin venues 'cold' and that everything -- and I mean, everything -- came at an additional cost. Wanted napkins? Charge! Wanted wine glasses? Charge! drove me silly trying to budget for the event we had pictured with those as the frameworks. Then we were introduced to the team at the Knockranny who are consummate professionals and who have a fair pricing system for an excellent event. I was given a handful of 'this or that' choices within our budget, which worked wonderfully to customize the day without it being a headache. Claire at the Knockranny and later Anna took such great care of us and our guests. I found working with them a pleasure. the fantastic service we received on our wedding day from Claire and the service staff. The food was outstanding. This is also something commented on by our wedding guests since our wedding day. It was tasty and cooked to perfection. On arrival on our wedding day, Knockranny staff went above and beyond to have our function room decorated to perfection. The ambiance created from the decor provided by Knockranny was fabulous and ensured we didn’t need to use external vendors to decorate the function room. The bedroom we stayed on in our wedding weekend was so spacious and met our every need while staying at Knockranny. When we packed up to leave Knockranny, Claire met us in person to return anything we had brought to the hotel prior to the wedding E.g wedding cake, alcohol and postbox for cards. Everything we had delivered at the hotel had been returned with a checklist of what exactly was received and what was being returned. I was blown away by the level of detail and care that was taken to ensure all of our goods were returned accurately. When finalising our bill when leaving Knockranny there were no bill discrepancies and we left feeling that we really got value for the service provided. My husband had invited many guests from Cork as this is where he is originally from. Since our wedding, many of the guests from Cork have returned to Knockranny on holiday over the last 15 months. Myself and my husband have also returned to Knockranny to stay on two occasions since our wedding with our most recent being last week when we returned with my parents, sister and brother-in-law. This is a testament to how much we loved Knockranny on our wedding day!!

the team in Knockranny was a class above. Claire and Anna quickly put any worries we had at ease. From the beginning, they were professional and helpful. Their communication was exemplary and we were most impressed by this; any enquiry, no matter how small was promptly dealt with. This was truly invaluable in keeping the stress at bay.

On the days around the wedding, the staff were so impressive; always attentive and friendly. The management team all made a point of introducing themselves to us and let us know they were there to help should we need anything.

They had set up the function room beautifully and exactly how we had requested. The day ran so smoothly; as we knew it would. We had complete trust in Claire and Anna; we knew in the lead-up that they would have it all covered on the day. They also coordinated with all our vendors - another worry off the list!! We could not find a single fault in the running of the day itself. As bride and groom, we can't emphasize enough how important it is to have confidence in the team who run your wedding day.

The food, decor, drink, service... EVERYTHING was perfect on the day. Our guests only had good things to say....several said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding!! Several others literally pointed out Claire to us and I think my bridesmaid summed it up when she said "She's like Wonder Woman flying around".

We could not recommend Knockranny House Hotel highly enough as a wedding venue. Easily the best wedding decision we made.

When it was booked, Anna and her colleague Claire basically guided us and prompted us through the entire process. They both organised everything perfectly. On the day itself, both Anna and Claire were on site. The room decor was fantastic. The food and service was fantastic. All our guests raved about the venue and Westport itself. It was an unforgettable day which we will treasure. Claire was so thoughtful, she put the bouquets in the hotel cold room to preserve them when ceremony was over knowing I wanted to put them on family graves.

I was organising the wedding from Cork, it was brilliant to have such a proactive person at the other end that would answer every question almost immediately on mail and understood the theme and what was important on our wedding day.

were planning our wedding from abroad, which can be stressful, but Claire's organisation and calm manner meant we had nothing to worry about. The venue was exquisite, and all the staff are so attentive and friendly.

On the day, our friends and family raved about the location, ballroom, views, but especially the food. Our compliments to the chef who served canapes and sandwiches for the drinks reception, a superb 6 course meal to 200+ guests and afters food later in the evening, and all in a very timely manner.

When the owner, Geraldine, came to the table to personally congratulate us we were truly blown away. As a family run hotel, you can see the pride and passion that Geraldine and all the staff have and that is evident from everyone you meet.

Our bridal suite was stunning, and we had the most beautiful view of Croagh Patrick from our room, which meant so much to us.

I have attended weddings before where the bride and groom are answering questions right up to the dance floor and at the Knockranny, that wasn't the case -- every single detail was covered! But we felt Anna's presence the entire evening making sure that the delicious food, the sensational decor, and the lively spirit of the venue were up to top notch. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the guests are still raving about the views, the location to Westport town, and the comfort and style of the rooms. The breakfast and bar were always accommodating. You really felt when you stepped in to the hotel on the Thursday before the ceremony that you were the belle of the ball and for that, taking the pressure and stress out of hosting such an important event off the shoulders of the bride and groom I cannot thank the Knockranny enough. We are so glad we went with this venue and are excited to come back for our anniversary next year -- it will be wonderful to walk the halls and remember when they were full of our friends and family toasting and celebrating the adventures ahead. noteworthy at a time when much of the hospitality industry is struggling to secure and retain staff. The wedding coordinators Claire and Anna, in particular, were absolutely fantastic. Whenever we contacted them with any queries during the planning stage one of them would respond almost immediately, they facilitated all requests we had and ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day leaving us free to enjoy ourselves with our guests.

The venue itself is gorgeous, it is an older style hotel, but is very well maintained and elegantly decorated. Both the main reception room and the smaller adjoining room the pre dinner drinks reception was held in are very well laid out and have a good flow between them, and both looked incredibly beautiful when dressed for the day.

The food service was amazing - we heard nothing but compliments from our guests, including from some who we had feared would not like the menu we selected. Everything was really fresh, well cooked and well presented and certainly there were no complaints about portion size with some guests reporting that they had been offered not only seconds but thirds and even that they had been allowed to try all of the menu options.

Knockranny truly pulled out all the stops for us and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

word to describe Knockranny's Wedding Coordinator - Claire. She is an absolute lady through and through and is a pleasure to deal with. From the moment we sat down with her in December 2020 to discuss our wedding, right up until our wedding day in July 2022, she was a joy to be around. From her sheer professionalism, to her incredible organisation, from her immediate replies to emails to her tips and advice, we honestly loved every step of the journey with Claire! On our wedding day she was amazing, working both in front and behind the scenes to ensure that everything kept ticking over on time. Even her eye for detail is amazing - laying out our photographs, sweets table, signs and baskets in the most wonderful way!

There is such a warmth from once you walk in the door of Knockranny and this is down to the incredible staff. From the lovely ladies on the front desk, to the bar staff, the cleaning staff to the function room staff - each and every member always had a smile on their face and made all of our guests feel so welcome.

From speaking to many of our guests - there has been no question as to their standout part of the day... our wedding meal (or "feast" as it has been named my some family members!)
Our wedding meal was simply outstanding!! Each course was of the most sublime quality, impeccable presentation and sheer class. There wasn't one single negative comment about any aspect from the meal and coming from two family of foodies - that is REALLY saying something!

Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we know that we have Claire and all of the staff at Knockranny to thank for that.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service on the day was second to none. Not only was the food great but it was piping hot, exactly what you want for your Winter Wedding! The hotel and function room was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations. We got some amazing photos there. The function room was lovely and spacious, something that made everyone feel comfortable.

All of our guests were so impressed with the bedrooms, so many of them have already booked to stay a night again. They are still talking about the beautiful rooms, great food and excellent service on the day.

We can't thank you all enough for making our day so perfect. We will definitely be recommending the Knockranny House Hotel to other couples.

The best day!

We had our long awaited wedding reception at Knockranny House Hotel last month, having postponed by a year due to the pandemic. Covid meant that at times we didn't know whether we were coming or going, particularly as we are based in the UK, so getting back to meet our suppliers …

before the day was a task in itself. Throughout it all, Claire was nothing but kind, patient and supportive. At the end of every phone call, she took time to answer our questions or make more changes to align with the changing circumstances.

The function room on the day was absolutely beautiful. The size of the room meant our guests didn't have to worry about being crammed in/too close to each other, but at the same time the room didn't look sparse. It was beautifully set up by the hotel team and the venue decor company. Having a separate drinks reception room is also brilliant. So many hotels nowadays skimp on this, so guests are left mingling in the lobby with other guests who are checking in. Not at Knockranny House Hotel, the wedding area is self contained but spacious with an outdoor space. The same goes for the bridal suite. It was the biggest of all the venues we viewed, which is important when there are six ladies to get ready.

The food was delicious and presented very tastefuly on the plate. Our guests commented on how it far exceeded the usual salmon/beef served at weddings. And there was definitely no shortage, seconds and thirds were offered. Service on the day was also excellent, the staff was very helpful and nobody wanted for anything.

Knockranny House Hotel is a really classy venue, and Claire and her team are an absolute pleasure to deal with. We are so glad we picked Knockranny House Hotel for our special day. Special thanks to Claire!

Claire Concannon, the wedding coordinator, is amazing!! Her vast experience and confidence in her role was obvious as soon as we met her – she was so accommodating and gave us fantastic advice throughout our planning. She was always available over email or phone and we knew we were in capable hands.

We were the hotel’s last wedding of a very busy Christmas season, but in the days before, the staff made us feel like we were the only wedding they had to think about - we called to the hotel on numerous occasions during this time and there was always someone waiting to meet us and help us however they could. These meetings made us feel so relaxed as we could tell that everything was under control.

My family and I stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! The penthouse is amazing and so luxurious; it was the perfect backdrop for our preparation and the morning photos.

We had total trust in Claire and her team (a special word of thanks to Nick and Michael!). We were treated like royalty – nothing was too much to ask, but we didn’t have to ask because they had it covered! The day ran so smoothly and was even more wonderful than we ever could have imagined. Our guests were so impressed with everything about the hotel, and the food was incredible.

Knockranny are the wedding experts. The food is outstanding, the ballroom is beautiful, the rooms are classic and elegant, and the staff are superb. We wouldn’t change a thing about our day. unbelievable wedding coordinator) to see the hotel, go through our options and look at available dates. We fell in love with the hotel and the scenery straight away. Once we decided on a date for the wedding Claire was like our wing woman from then on. Nothing is a problem for this lady and she makes everything look so easy. She also gave us great advise throughout the entire planning process.
Then there was the tasting night. This was definitely my favourite part when it came to the organising. We went to Knockranny one evening to taste different options for the wedding menu with our family. My mouth waters even thinking about it now. We could have put everything on the menu so picking a few from what we tasted was the difficult part.
On the day everything was better than we both imagined. The food in the cocktail bar before the meal was so tasty and the ballroom looked beautiful. People are still commenting on how amazing the food was on the day. That is something I can guarantee you wont have to worry about on the day.
The bridal suite...you wont see anything else like it. I don't have words for how amazing it is, just book an appointment to meet with Claire and she will give you a tour. Wow isn't a strong enough word!
You cannot go wrong with booking this venue for your wedding. We both look forward to attending weddings here in the future because it is such an amazing place.

There was no moment where I was stressed or worried about anything at all as Claire is very experienced and is always at the other end of the phone/email and always replies very promptly. The knockranny hotel and staff have a consistent track record in all areas for weddings and any event/occasion. The day went perfectly with all the staff working hard and so professionally and made us feel so special on the day going above and beyond for us. No other place like it in my opinion. Where to start.... !!
The idea of planning a wedding from Texas was daunting, but from our first email from Claire, we knew Knockranny House was where we wanted to spend our special day!
There was nothing too big or small for Claire and all of the staff at Knockranny- much of our communication …

was over email- but the food, the room (everything down to the lighting, background music, and table decorations), the flow of the day, the second day celebrations- nothing could have been better.
Claire responds to every email so quickly and with more than the necessary information and she meets bride and groom (and any of their family members) as many times as they wish before the big day.
We had the most special time and we were made to feel like we were the only people in the hotel the whole time we were there. Every last staff member was absolutely superb and so attentive to every guest, and the food was delicious! Thank you to every person at Knockranny House for making our time there so incredible - we cannot thank you enough and can’t wait to go back to relive all the memories!!

The common trend we are hearing from all our guests is 'the food was the nicest we have ever had at a wedding" and we agree with our guests....it was incredible! The whole day and night was way beyond what we expected and it was just flawless. One of the things we loved so much about Knockranny is that you are made to feel so special, we were welcomed by the owners themselves and made to feel so welcome. We stayed an extra two nights after our wedding and even though there was another wedding the next day, Claire still made sure every time she saw us to say hello and check that we were OK. always knew we wanted to get married back where he and his family is from. We assumed wedding planning from 3000 miles away would come with a long list of challenges but thanks to Knockranny’s Wedding Coordinator, the phenomenal Claire Concannon we couldn’t have been more wrong. Claire simply was everything you hope your wedding coordinator would be. While she is organized and works to get everything done, she also has this calming way about her. We couldn’t have been less stressed over our international wedding of over 300 guests- we just knew Claire and her team had it under control.
It’s been just about 2 months now since our wedding and we are still getting texts, calls, and shouts from our guests that we run into that it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to. The best Craic. The best food (seriously- this was one of the things we heard the most. The food was UNBELIEVABLE). The nicest hotel rooms. It’s so nice hearing we chose a place that our guests were treated as well as the bride and the groom themselves were. We couldn’t believe how accommodating the hotel was to our party, not just on the day but the entire weekend we were there. Everyone was just SO kind and made you feel like royalty.
We truly can’t say enough great things about this place. My hope is that anyone reading this ends their wedding venue search here and gives Claire a ring and begins planning their big day with her and Knockranny- you will NOT regret it!

A number of my uncle's were left without drink including Colm at one stage. Then I found out there was so much drink left over. I think it's a bad policy of the hotel not to give all the drink out as they want people to buy the drinks in the hotel. We had our wedding ceremony at Knockranny House Hotel & Spa and the ceremony room itself was beautiful, very elegant, as was the area where we had the drinks reception after.
Claire, the Wedding Coordinator at Knockranny is an absolute dream. I placed my trust in her completely. Because we were planning from abroad, I wanted someone I could rely on and Claire was certainly that, and more. I left a lot of the details to her and on the day she ensured everything ran smoothly. She is so organized and has thought of every single detail.
Our guests have all commented on the standard of food at our wedding, and I couldn't agree more. The food was outstanding and the service was second to none.

While we had not attended a wedding at the venue, its reputation alone meant that it was top of our list. We had heard top class reviews about the food and also the wedding coordinator Claire. first encounter with Claire via email we were absolutely confident that there would not be one stone left unturned or one detail overlooked in planning our big day. Nothing was too big a problem or a request. We wished to make slight changes to the package on offer and this was facilitated with no difficulty whatsoever. We visited the hotel a number of times leading up to the wedding and the staff that we encountered were so friendly and welcoming. While there were one or two small issues with out menu tasting, these were all resolved and again, we were completely confident that everything would be perfect on the day.
While the hotel hosted a very large wedding the day before ours there was absolutely no problem with our visit to drop off various pieces for our day despite the fact the staff were incredibly busy at the time.
The big day itself surpassed every single expectation that we held. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE and all of our guests commented. There was absolutely no shortage with many guests enjoying 'seconds'. We partied late into the night and enjoyed every second of the day. Although the hotel is a very popular one for weddings, we were still made to feel like ours was the only one they were planning and hosting. They really made us feel special for our weekend. While Knockranny may be considered a little more expensive than other venues in the locality, you most certainly get what you pay for. It is absolutely first class and I would love nothing more than to do it all over again. Thank you for everylasting memories and we look forward to visiting regularly in the years to come.

Knockranny has a fantastic reputation for excellent food and we were thrilled with all aspects of our wedding meal. All of the staff in Knockranny are lovely to deal with throughout the planning process, on the wedding day itself and welcomed us back when we attended another wedding after our own. We chose to have our post wedding party in the cocktail lounge in Knockranny the night after our wedding which worked out perfectly. It was so easy to arrange and the staff pulled out all the stops to make this night another night to remember. Knockranny is a beautiful hotel and is the perfect place for a wedding reception. We had an absolutely amazing wedding reception at Knockranny House Hotel!
We initially looked at a couple of hotels as options, but once we arrived at Knockranny and had a look around and met the staff, we knew that Knockranny was really the only option for us.
From the beginning, Claire, the …

wedding coordinator, was so helpful and nice to deal with. We were organizing our wedding from Dubai, so having a coordinator that we could trust was really invaluable to us.
The location of the hotel was ideal. It is just outside of Westport which was nice for guests who wanted to venture in to the town the next day, but was not so close to town that our guests started to leave on the night of the wedding. On the wedding day, we were even able to go out at sunset and get some pictures of Clew Bay given that the hotel is in an ideal location for capturing the view.
I had quite a few props for the wedding. Thankfully, I just had to drop them at the hotel and tell Claire where I wanted them and how I wanted them to look. I was amazed on the day as to how accurately everything was put together; everything looked even better than I could have imagined.
Many of our guests commented that they had a fabulous experience. The food at the wedding was second to none; much more akin to a restaurant quality meal than what is usually provided at a large function such as a wedding. Not only was the food of high quality, but seconds and even thirds were offered. We also appreciated the layout of the hotel, in that, the arrival area for guests is at a private lounge area separate to the other hotel guests allowing for a very intimate and private event.
All in all, we were very pleased with our entire experience at Knockranny and are very much looking forward to returning for our one year anniversary.

We are so grateful for your professionalism, kindness, expertise and efficiency in helping organise our wedding. You made the planning process seem easy and straightforward. I know there was lots on behind the scenes in helping create our ideal day. I cannot commend you highly enough and Knockranney are so lucky to have you as a valued member of staff. We originally viewed another hotel and thought we'd view Knockranney as a comparison though we thought our minds had been made up with the other hotel. Upon meeting you, you won us over and we are so glad we visited Knockranney that day.

Nothing was too much trouble. Every meeting we had with you was conducted so efficiently and your experience in the wedding industry is so apparent. You offered suggestions when we were looking for assistance in locating a supplier for draping, order of speeches, approximate number of prosecco bottles required, ideas regarding desserts, supplied canapes for bridal party upon arrival etc. etc. etc. I could go on! You literally thought of everything! Many people commended us on our organisation on the day but I kept referring to you and your wonderful team!

Mrs Corcoran was so kind to approach us and check in with us on the wedding day! We were so impressed to see her lead her waiting staff by example by assisting in serving our wedding party. It's not too often you see the owner so active and behind every good ship is a wonderful captain..... Thanks to the waiting staff who conducted the service so efficiently. Also, thanks to you all for coming out to the car on our arrival-all those subtle touches make the day extra special. You all really treated us so well and made us feel so valued.

To the chef.......the food was mouth watering! Not one complaint was brought to our attention! Instead, everyone we spoke with highly commended the food, how it was fresh, hot, plentiful and cooked so well. It can make/break a wedding day to have good/bad food and whilst we could rest assured the food would be of high standard in Knockranney, it was a big topic of discussion from our guests for all the right reasons. When people travel from near and far bringing gifts and cards Colin and I really wanted them to be looked after and we couldn't have asked for any more from you and your team.

It is with both fondness and sadness that I say goodbye to you! You've been a very important lady in our lives over the course of the last 13months and it's hard to believe the planning process has ended and gone so well. We will be forever grateful for your friendly smile, professional nature and approachability. We're only sorry we didn't get a quick snap with you on the day. I've said it before but Knockranney are so lucky to have you! We will have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and family who may wish to get married.

We were very thankful to have you as our “go to person” in relation to all our wedding queries and questions. You are without a doubt a huge asset to the Knockranny House Hotel and we truly believe without your involvement in our wedding, our experience would not have gone so smoothly. You were always willing to meet/communicate at short notice and your vast level of experience in relation to planning and execution of wedding matters shone through in abundance. For all of this we thank you most sincerely.

We have received tremendous compliments and praise from all of our guests in relation to the hotel. People were blown away by the pictures setting and location of the hotel, the friendly and efficient service of your staff, the quality and charm of the hotel rooms and its facilities, the quality and presentation of your food and the ambiance, character and comfort of your bars and restaurants. To put it simply – our guests loved their overall experience of the Knockranny House Hotel! I know some of our guests are already planning return trips to Westport and the Knockranny House Hotel features heavily in their plans.

Both Ruth and I were extremely happy with how the big day went off. We have no critiques, regrets or disappointments with our wedding reception. We will not be looking back in years to come wondering what if this or that had been done differently. It was perfect. It exceeded our high expectations. It could not have been better. This didn’t happen by accident – Our reception was the success it was because of the attention to detail the management and staff of the hotel delivered on the day. From the second we set foot in your hotel on our wedding day, we could not have asked for more. Both our guests and our wedding party were warmly received by the hotel staff with a genuine welcome. The reception room exuded an atmosphere of luxury and elegance thanks to the finishing touches applied by you and your team. Our meal was quite simply AMAZING. The quality of the food, the beautiful presentation and the efficient level of service were the high point of the day for us. Please extend our sincere appreciation and respect to all those who worked so hard to make our day the success and joy it was for us. We truly enjoyed our day and night of celebrations and for this we are most appreciative.

The Knockranny House Hotel will be synonymous with us for our wedding day memories forever more.
