many compliments back from our guests on the meal and they still mention it when they talk about the wedding. Brenda was still on hand to tweak things the night before and all during the day of the wedding. I would definitely recommend the Oranmore Lodge to someone if they were thinking of getting married in the future.

On the 20th of October, my husband and I got married at the Oranmore Lodge Hotel and it was the best day of our lives.

Living in England but wanting to get married at home, I was worried how we would be able to plan our special day. Then we met Brenda and from then, everything was made so much …

easier!

The Oranmore Lodge is a beautiful, intimate hotel and Brenda ensured everything was perfect for our day. I’m sure she was getting fed up with countless emails but she accepted all requests and gave suggestions to make everything even better!

We had our civil ceremony at the hotel and the room was decorated beautifully, with gorgeous lanterns lighting up the aisle.

We were greeted after the ceremony with prosecco and canapés.

We got married during the wonderful week Storm Ophelia hit, so our plan for photographs by Oranmore Castle had to change. Thankfully, the Lodges interior is spectacular! We had photographs inside and the decor made for spectacular pictures.

The reception room was also decorated to an even higher standard than I anticipated. Our meal was delicious, with a good variety of choices and our guests still talk about how delicious the food was!

Brenda was on hand to ensure everything went exactly as planned.

We utilised the Lodges resident DJ, and that man can read a room. The dance floor was never empty and he graciously took requests so everyone had music they enjoyed!

We stayed overnight in a beautiful, cosy suite that we hope to stay in again some time.

I’m not very good at putting into words how grateful we both are to Brenda and all the staff at the Oranmore Lodge Hotel for making our wedding day so beautiful, personal and more than we could ever have wished for.

Emailing the hotel in the early planning stages was one of the best decisions I made!
