In the run-up to the wedding, Claire was impeccably attentive to detail, facilitating generous tastings, tours of the venue, while all the time answering every (every!) question we had and providing advice on photographs and reassurance on timings and bands when it was necessary! As time went on, we got to know every one on the team in the Park, Liane, Mary, Áine and Sheila, and they made us feel that they were invested in making sure the best day of our lives was exactly that.
Nature threw a spanner in the works the weekend we were due to get married - in the form of the Beast from the East! This is where the team at the Park really came into their own. No question, request or slight panic was too much! They kept their calm as arrangements changed, table plans moved and guests were unfortunately able to join. All throughout, Liane and her team were focused on making sure that logistics wouldn't prevent Teresa and I from enjoying everything.
The best feedback we got was from our guests. Everyone commented on the grandeur of the room, the friendliness of the staff (some guests even got to know them on first name terms!) and the beauty of the surroundings. However, it was the fantastic food that got the top prize! Piping hot, really tasty and servings aplenty, the Park Hotel's reputation for food is well-deserved and was proven in spades that day.
We had a great great day, and so much of that is due to the professionalism, friendliness and the exceptionalism of Claire, Liane and everyone at the Park Hotel. Thanks to each and every one of you.

were always on hand to help us in any way possible.
Most of our guests travelled to attend our wedding and so they stayed in the hotel, everyone was very happy with their room and the good breakfast the next morning, all of the hotel was booked out by our friends and family so it was lovely that everyone was together. Do not be dazzled by a larger hotel, this hotel is all heart.

floor. We met with Clare Brogan at The Park when looking at venues and we just knew we wanted to have our reception there. Claire is so easy to deal with and is so helpful. She makes all the planning so easy. The room looked amazing,it took my breath away when I saw it. While in the function room getting the pictures with the cake one of the staff arrived in with a plate of food for us,which was much appreciated after a busy morning. The attention to detail at the hotel is unreal. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The staff at the hotel are a credit. So helpful and welcoming. The Park Hotel is a great welcoming, friendly, well run hotel. Jarlath and I would highly highly recommend it for a wedding reception.

people travelling from Wexford that would need to stay the two nights were given a very competitive rate. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. The hotel was so beautifully decorated, the food was amazing and plentiful. Claire went above and beyond to come and round to us and round everyone to make sure everyone was looked after and had enough food and drinks. The next morning we were seeing people off and ended up having drinks in the bar for a few hour's. We hadn't settled up but there was no pressure from anyone. The staff were happy to hold on to stuff for us until we were ready to go. One thing that really stood out to us was Claire was sick the day of our wedding (which I didn't know until the next day) She never once said she was sick and carried on running the show until the end. To us that spoke volumes as to how dedicated and professional she is. We would highly recommend the Park Hotel as we had the best day of our lives thanks to the staff and their dedication.

The Park. Once booked we were able to relax again until closer to the wedding. Claire was there to help and offer advice on all aspects -band, food, wine etc. We dropped in jars and sweets and they provided us with a fab sweet table, baskets for the bathrooms and all were set up exactly as we would have wanted them.
On the day when we arrived the hotel looked fabulous, the drinks reception and finger food was lovely and all the guest seemed really happy. The reception went so smoothly and the food could not be faulted with loads of it for everyone. Claire knew we were determined not to have a really late start to the music and sure enough the team made sure we were out dancing without delay after the meal. I genuinely couldn’t fault the Park Hotel it was certainly a five star experience for us.

helped us with all our queries all the way through. Nothing was too much trouble- simply VIP treatment. There is a real family feel to the hotel and as our guests occupied the large majority of the rooms at the hotel for the weekend, we felt like it was a home from home.

The one thing myself and my now husband wanted for our guests, who mostly travelled from London to join us, was to have somewhere we could all be together, great food, great music and a memorable time.
Over one month on and our guests are still telling us how great our day was and this is largely thanks to the Park Hotel.

I am so glad we chose the Park for our wedding venue and would recommend to anyone. We can’t wait to return for our 1st anniversary and hope to get there again before that too.

throughout the entire planning process. The attention to detail from Claire and staff was second to none and on the day we were at total ease in their hands, the food was delicious and no request was to big or to small, service of it flowed seemlessly by a warm and attentive staff. We also had our wedding photos taken in a little wooded park with a pond just next to the hotel which turned out beautifully. Claire and all the staff were a huge part in making our day perfect and special to us, the staff took pride in our day as if it was their own or a family members. I would highly recommend the Park Hotel to anyone looking for a venue to host their wedding reception or civil ceremony.

The staff were amazing on the day and delivered a delicious meal to everyone and all dieter requirements were met without any fuss. planning. I felt that our wedding was personalised for us and nothing was too much for Claire to do. We were allowed to bring in some personal pieces to decorate the room and compliment the amazing centrepieces. The food was outstanding and we received so many compliments from our guests about the high standard - and quantity of food on the day (and from those who stayed the night before the wedding and ate in the front bar). The accommodation is very spacious, clean and warm. All of the staff in The Park Hotel were so friendly and went above and beyond for us, they were so attentive to all the guests and made everyone feel very welcome. We had the most amazing day of our lives and cannot recommend the Park Hotel strongly enough to any other couples out there looking for a wedding venue.

wedding in her very capable hands. The food was five star, we could not compliment this enough, and every guest we have spoken to since has said the same thing.
The rooms were beautiful, particularly the bridal suite. The morning after the wedding we had a late private breakfast which was a lovely welcome touch. We would again like to thank the staff for everything they did to make our special day perfect.
We would have no hesitation in recommending the Park Hotel for any occasion.

day itself was perfect! Everything went according to plan thanks to the efficiency of Claire and the rest of the staff. All of our guests commented on the delicious food and the fact that there was plenty of it :)

With Mayo being in the All Ireland minor and senior football finals the next day, we didn't think of the bouquets or cake until Monday but they had it all kept safe for us. Another plus for us is that the hotel and its toilets really are wheelchair accessible which meant my Mum who uses a wheelchair could also share in our special day.

The staff were attentive throughout. We have attended a number of weddings at the hotel also and have enjoyed every minute. We cannot recommend the Park Hotel highly enough as a wedding venue.

about the meal that we chose. Our guests thought the staff and hotel were brilliant too. The free shuttle service to and from Knock airport was particularly useful for us as we had many guests travelling over from abroad for the wedding. I would most definitely recommend people to have their wedding here.

is so warm and inviting, spotlessly clean and ideallly located. My husband is a Hotel Manager so his standards are very high when it comes to food, drink, service, rooms etc. Even now he raves about how good it all was. Claire is fantastic, she goes above and beyond to make your day so special, whatever she promises, she will deliver. The best thing of all, apart from the hotels great rates, is almost 3 years later I am meeting people who were at our wedding and say what a great day and night they had, from the food to the atmosphere, they say it was one of the best wedding they have been to for years. If there was a 6th star the Park Hotel would get it. You would be crazy not to have your reception there.

plenty of it for all those ''second's please!''. The staff were military in their service yet unassuming in their presence. The reception room was bright, airy and exceptionally grand in style. We were looking for a hotel that our guests wouldn't get lost in or be distracted by other events/ activities either in or surrounding the hotel and the Park completely fitted the bill. It was large enough to go out for a stroll and fresh air or pop out to the bar for break but at the same time quaint enough to keep everyone feeling special and unique. I'm delighted to say our bridal party and close guests all confirmed this sentiment. I definately recommend the Park Hotel as an ideal wedding venue.
