The food was delicious and plentiful..everyone was offered seconds of the main courses which is always a lovely touch!

I wouldn’t change a thing about the day, everything about the hotel was perfect!
They definitely deserve their 5 stars and would recommend anyone looking at this hotel for their wedding to definitely book it, you won’t be disappointed!

completely delivered on the day! The food was piping hot and our guests commented on how good it was and plenty of it!

They really went above and beyond in that when one of our guests had to take her young child to their bedroom during the meal, staff followed her up with her dinner, drinks and dessert afterwards. That is beyond any of our expectations, ever!

Natalie, our coordinator, was the dream! Anything we asked for was not a problem and the day ran so smoothly. She was so professional and so trustworthy - I genuinely looked forward to our meetings. On the day, the room looked amazing, our colour scheme and artwork was incorporated everywhere possible (without me having to request this!) Natalie even made sure my brother got a birthday cake on the day (which I had nearly forgotten). Natalie made us and all the wedding party feel so at ease with regards to the arrival, meal and speeches etc. because we were kept informed all the time.

All of our guests have made comments on the hotel and the staff and said they would recommend it to anyone as they just had such an amazing time.

from the reception staff right through to the bar staff waiting to meet with the wedding planner, Natalie. I cannot stress how nothing we wanted was an issue, some hotels make restrictions etc and all we were told was it's our day, and what we want the hotel will make happen! Even to the point of Natalie suggesting things like the prosecco van, which went down a treat! Naturally we booked our wedding and over the coming months felt real at ease organising all the details despite living in Cork.

We arrived the night before and instantly were greeted on a first name basis throughout the hotel, something small but when the bar staff know your name, it certainly made me feel at home. On our wedding day there were lots of little bits to set up as always. The groomsmen running round trying to sort it all. Just as we were getting a bit stressed, staff from the hotel came and asked what was to be done, told us go and relax and took care of it! That was the theme of the entire day, nothing was to much trouble and the overwhelming message to us as the bride and groom was relax...we will take care of it all.

We had our ceremony in the hotel, which was amazing. Then we moved to the conservatory, believe me it's worth stopping in just to see this yourself. After the drinks reception it was back to the room. What a transformation. It was everything we wanted and more. Food and drink flowed and its was beautiful. (Thanks Natalie for all the advice during the tasting).

On day 2 we were met with champagne and orange juice and the same friendly faces in the bar looking after our every need. Hotel organised music, we had another fantastic meal and a proper sing song till the early hours.

This hotel surpassed all our expectations. My only advice is, if like us you are planning your wedding and looking at hotels, please add the Killarney Heights to your list to go and see.

You wont regret it!

amazing staff whom were all friendly and so professional. We booked it that day because we just knew it was the venue for us. No it doesn't have fairy light backdrops or colourful uplighting that many venues offer but for us, breath taking views and the natural light was exactly us.
We were such a chilled couple to a point where I though "oh maybe we're too relaxed", but Natalie is so good, we didn't need to be stressed or worry about what we wanted or how to make it happen, she just knew the answers, before we even formed the questions Natalie knew!
The emphasis was put on how it was our day, our wedding and the hotel would help us do it our way.
We are from Cork and with both of us working full time and having two small kids, trips up and down to Killarney weren't an option, thankfully it didn't have to be. Natalie was our point of contact and every email was answered quickly and it was just so easy. We arrived on the Friday night, where we were met with smiles, the reception staff, the bar staff, everyone was a pleasure to deal with. We ate in the bar on the Friday night and the food was amazing even then. We sat outside as it was beautiful weather and the staff would stop for a chat while collecting glasses and one bar man Mark was very witty and funny, the bridesmaids nearly invited him to the wedding.

On our wedding day there were lots of last minute table plan changes and things that should stress you out, but no, the staff has solutions to whatever issue we brought. Honestly, as a bride and groom we thought we'd have more to do, we thought we'd have to sort things but no, Natalie and her team were just on fire.
We had our ceremony in the hotel, which was nothing short of beautiful, their set up is fab, lanterns lining the alise and just a relaxed theme to the whole thing. Prior to the ceremony, Natalie met me and the girls in the room and ran through what we'd have to do and how it would go which really settled the last minute jitters.
The drinks reception conservatory is just beautiful, one of the plus sides was having the option to provide our own beer for it, the set up is great and the donut wall is just icing on the cake.
After the drinks reception we went back to the ceremony room, the set up is lovely, the table centre pieces were beautiful, the placement of everything from the Mr & Mrs sign (which is provided by the hotel), the sweet cart had a divider so it was reasonably hidden from our 17 child guests and the tables were just beautifully set up. The dinner was amazing Rachel waited on the top table and she was so friendly and again a bit of banter which worked so nicely for our day. The food really was phenomenal and we had guests with stomachs like bottomless pits telling us how impressed they were about portion sizes!
As we stumbled to bed at 515am, we were met at reception by the night porter whom took our room service order for the morning before we fell into the bridal suite, which, I must stay is nothing short of luxurious.
Finally, if I had to give a bride and groom any advise when planning their wedding it would be, book The Heights Hotel.

being shown around we knew it was the right venue for us. The lovely, bright and spacious wedding reception room was what really sold the Hotel to us as well as the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Natalie's happy and bubbly personality and her passion for weddings also made the decision very easy for us. We could not fault the hotel, staff or Natalie for all they did for us - they made organising a wedding from London very easy. We did 3 nights in the hotel - the night before the wedding, the night of the wedding and the night after. The staff were extremely attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. Not only were both families well looked after but so many of our guests have commented on the great service and how brilliant the staff were throughout their stay there. The morning of the wedding they had an area set up for the bridal party to have our hair and make up done. They served us breakfast there and were constantly popping in to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. It was so relaxing and enjoyable having nothing to worry about the morning of the wedding and having everyone together in the one place. The wedding day itself was amazing and everything ran to plan, the food was outstanding and the service during the reception was faultless - many guests are still talking about the dinner! It was just fantastic from start to finish and Natalie was always on hand to make sure everything was running smoothly and on time. We had our day two at the hotel as well and again the staff were great and nothing was ever too much hassle. I would highly recommend the Heights and Natalie to anyone who is thinking of getting married in Killarney!

It was a humanistic ceremony in the hotel and the room set up was stunning. after this the guests were brought to the amazing drinks reception area to enjoy beverages before being brought back into the dining room where they had a meal of beef and Hake. Every guest commented on how beautiful the food was and how fast the service was. As it was the same day as the champion league final the hotel were able to live stream the game into the room during the meal at my request. Like I said nothing was a problem. With the moposa website provided by the hotel and reminder emails from Natalie reminding us of various things to do re the reception we knew we were in a safe pair of hands and that nothing would be overlooked.
Natalie shone again closer to the big day with the food tasting. We were undecided after the first food tasting and spoke with Natalie. She took on board our questions and observations and reassured us when we needed it most and invited us back for another food tasting - this was a great relief to us as the meal is one of the biggest talking points at a wedding.

On the day itself Natalie worked tirelessly for us in the background with her well trained team ensuring that we could really enjoy the day and not to have to worry about anything.
We enclose a photo our photographer took in the hotel’s stunning garden at night. The gardens are superb at night, one of our favourite places at the hotel.

return for our anniversary stay. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. The staff, the facilities, the food and everything else the hotel has to offer are absolutely superb.
We made an appointment to meet with Natalie (the wedding co-ordinator) approximately 10 months before our wedding was due to take place. Over a coffee, she made us feel that our wedding was the most important event this hotel would ever host and talked us through how The Heights would cater for our big day. She made us aware of the very reasonable wedding packages on offer, as well as highlighting the extra little touches the hotel could add to ensure our big day would be a truly memorable experience for us and our guests. I know having attended weddings in other venues that many of the perks we received in the Killarney Heights are not offered, or simply do not exist elsewhere. The Heights Hotel is a family owned business and the personal touch they provide was evident from the very beginning. We always felt as if our wedding was extremely important to the hotel and its staff. We were never just another booking/number.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Natalie and her colleagues were always on hand to answer questions, offer opinion and make suggestions on absolutely anything in relation to the wedding. Their feedback was available at all times no matter how silly or small our queries may have been. Planning a wedding is a difficult, complicated and stressful process. However, knowing that our arrangements were in the hands of such competent consummate professionals made it virtually stress free for us as we were confident that every aspect of our day was under control at all times.
We met with Natalie a month before the wedding to discuss how exactly the day would go from start to finish. Every little detail was discussed and no stone was left unturned. Any last minute nerves were eliminated knowing the team at the hotel were on top of absolutely everything, while also being capable of following a contingency plan to ensure minimum disruption if anything unforeseen occurred.
The day itself ran like clockwork. We had an absolute ball. Every one of our guests had a ball. That obviously made our day even more enjoyable. The staff were polite, attentive and efficient at all times. The food was gorgeous. And there were seconds for anyone who fancied some. The bars were well staffed, with no guest waiting more than thirty seconds to be served from the time they arrived at the drinks reception until the early hours. All of our guests were effusive in their praise for the hotel, the food, the staff and the facilities.
Natalie was brilliant on the day, keeping every aspect under control and ensuring the day ran smoothly and to plan.
I cannot stress how impressed we were with this hotel for our wedding. We had the best day of our lives and Natalie and the staff of the Heights Hotel had an awful lot to do with that. I wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day and I would encourage anyone thinking of booking their own wedding there to do it now. You won’t regret it!

A special thank you to Natalie, she is superb at her job. Everything appeared so effortless in how she worked to accommodate all our requests & changes. Again, I know she had other weddings & events to organise but we definitely felt solely focused on whilst dealing with her. This is a credit to her as I know organising and coordinating the wedding is a major responsibility to be given & she did an amazing job right up to the day and on the day itself. online we could about different hotels and the Heights review were good but after experiencing what we did last Saturday they truly do not do them justice. From the minute we contacted them to the minute we left on the Monday after our wedding we received 5 star service. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. This was not because we were the bride & groom, all our guests who had travelled from London, the States and around Ireland all commented on how friendly and efficient the staff were from reception (Jane & Susi), bar staff (Eamon, Jack, Miguel, Rory), housekeeping and our lovely wedding coordinator Natalie. All staff go above and beyond to help, they are exceptionally friendly, so approachable and always happy to help, nothing was too much trouble.

Natalie worked her socks off to ensure our day was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, it was like she didn't know what the word 'No' was! Everything we asked for she went above and beyond to ensure it happened. We were not happy with our first meal tasting and together with the her support liaising with the amazing chef at the Heights we came up with a menu we were thrilled with. People are still commenting on how spectacular the food was. We had Kerry Lamb Shank / Chicken Cordon Blue, Lemon crusted Hake & a vegetarian wellington for mains. Every guest we spoke with stated how the lamb was so tender and fell off the bone, while our vegetarian guests stated it was the first wedding they attended where they could actually eat and wanted to eat the vegetarian option as it was so tasty. When the mains were coming to an end they came out again with seconds for anyone who wanted to try any of the other mains which I know a few of our guests went in for 2nd helpings some even 3rd helpings, that is how tasty the food was! In the days leading up to the wedding I dropped off props to make it more personal to Brendan & I, Natalie offered to set it all up which was amazing as I under estimated just how tired and such little time I would have in the days leading up to the wedding. Our drinks reception was beautiful, Natalie had set it up everything as I requested, it was perfect. She is very well organised & extremely cool under pressure which made us & our bridal party feel even more relaxed.

We had our next day event at the Heights also, it was my mums 60th. We had a BBQ for 70 people and surprised my mum with a cake. Again Natalie and all the staff were outstanding in ensuring the day was a huge success. Again the food was unbelievable with beautifully cooked salmon, chicken thighs and burgers + salads, and there was enough bar staff on to ensure no one was ever waiting to be served a drink. Natalie also arranged music for the BBQ which was a big hit with guests and added to the already great atmosphere. Later on that night due to the large crowd still in the bar staff brought out complimentary sandwiches & finger food of cocktail sausages & chicken nuggets to our guests. No one approached us to ask if we wanted snacks but management were great at reading the room and implemented it.

I could continue with even more positive things to say but I know it will still not do the staff / venue the justice it deserves. We cannot recommend the Killarney Heights Hotel enough. It will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and we cannot thank everyone enough for making our wedding weekend so unforgettable and so special.

We had viewed a few hotels in Killarney but felt the Heights Hotel was the right venue for us. In particular, the setting of the hotel. Located on the edge of the town with stunning views of the Reeks from the function room from the beautiful french windows that ran the length of the room. The room is spacious and bright which was what we were looking for. With its natural decor, it makes a perfect background for applying your wedding details, ie. flowers, colour pallette.

Also, the stunning reception area created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests to mingle.

The meal was amazing!!! The wedding package deals had alot to choose from and we were able to mix and match to create our own menu. The waiting and bar staff were very attentive and friendly and the wine flowed all day!! We are still getting compliments from guests from the food and the service, the atmosphere and how enjoyable overall the day was.

The Castle Suite was beautiful and really made you feel like royalty. Sandra who overlooked accommodation was a dream to work with and every request was fulfilled.

Overall, couples need not look any further when choosing a setting for your wedding day. The team in the Heights Hotel Killarney go above and beyond to create your perfect wedding day.

everything from food, staff, rooms and warmth coming from everyone involved, they complimented the speed at which 170 people were served there piping hot and very well presented meal, they also commented on how friendly, polite and very helpful each member of staff was. From the first meeting we had with Noreen we felt 100% happy that this was the perfect venue for our special day, nothing we asked for was a problem and if there was something we wanted but could not find they were more then happy to find it for us. by all the staff that the day was just perfect in every way, not the slightest bit stressful, very relaxed and we were looked after so well. The room where the ceremony took place was very inviting and laid out well, very comfortable and calm. After the ceremony drinks and snacks were ready, pictures taken and then a fantastic meal with lovely wine. The room was once again and especially the table just lovely. The wedding coordinator put all our wedding table accessories beautifully on the table and even though we were a small group we felt very well looked after. During the meal we were given our privacy but staff were around to pour drinks, serve food etc. They were all very polite and extremely helpful. We could not have asked for more. The staff made our wedding day very special and the ceremony, venue, meal, etc were perfect. As soon as you enter the hotel you are greeted with smiles and there were various seating areas to relax. We were the Hotels main focus and this gave us great relief, that professional staff where caring for all our needs and requirements. Anytime we contacted the Hotel or when the Hotel contacted us, we found Hotel Wedding Coordinator and Staff, very polite, very professional, always very helpful with every aspect at the planning stage and the lead up to the big day, they made life alot easier for us.(Stressed you see, but the Hotel Staff made us calm and relaxed and put us at ease, with the way the Hotel looked after us in every aspect with planning our Wedding). On the day itself, everything and we mean everything went off without a hitch. The reception was beautiful and terrific, the meal was world class and the service was second to none. We are very grateful to The Heights Hotel and Staff for the way they ran the show. The Guest's keep singing the Hotel praises, even still to this day, even though we got married over a year ago. We could not thank the Hotel and Staff enough, for making our dream day come through and be made a reality. day. Anything that we brought in ourselves candles/flowers etc were all given back to us with care. On the wedding day, the food/service etc was excellent, definitly deserving the five stars. There was only one thing that happened on the day that wasn't the plan and hence the four star rating. Before entering the reception a waitress took our order. During this there was confusion over my junior bridesmaid's order. After speaking with Noreen it was resolved but the way in which the waitress threw the menu towards me and and didn't explain that she didn't know etc It deeply upset me and tears started to flow down my eyes. Noreen was excellent on handling this situation. Later that evening I was gasping for a coffee and didn't look to see who was giving me the coffee, when I saw that it was the same waitress, I began to apologise for the confusion earlier and at this point she walked away and left the coffee station where there were nearly 300 guests attending the wedding. Noreen apologised to us the following day. It was an absolute brilliant day and Noreen and the Heights were an absolute pleasure to deal with. It was just an unfortunate experience with the waitress that dampened such hard work of others.
