Nestled in an idyllic, country setting, Barnabrow Country House, located in East Cork can be exclusively yours.

The immaculate estate grounds, individually designed bedrooms of the Manor House and the Courtyard, the cosy Mor Chluana cottage for drinks before dinner, and the grand banqueting hall with its renowned chef, are all designed to wrap you in a cocoon of intimacy.

Barnabrow Country House offers several locations, inside or outside, where ceremonies can be conducted: Our tree-shaded Fairy Grove is simply magical on sunny days; the front of the Manor House offers stunning views of East Cork’s rolling countryside; and when climates forbid, guests can celebrate your union in our elegant conservatory, with 85 seats and much more standing space.

The labyrinth of buildings and pathways at Barnabrow beckons guests to explore. They delight in the nooks and crannies that they unearth and are surprised by the occasional fairy that passes them by. Sometimes this is the effect of the champagne that they are sipping on the deck that overlooks East Cork’s rolling countryside, with distant glimpses of Ballycotton Bay. They are relaxing now, after the exchange of vows, which was held in the Fairy Grove, beneath tall trees that dappled the sunlight to make the whole ceremony look like an Impressionist painting.

The canapes tantalise the palate and promise of the wedding feast to come. Your guests are charmed; they wonder at your cleverness to have found such a secret and to have brought them here. The tension of the past months begins to melt – your serene visage is momentarily glimpsed by a discreet photographer and is preserved forever. You look beautiful.

We had an outdoor civil ceremony surrounded by beautiful nature, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was peaceful, relaxed, and full of charm – we even had donkeys grazing in the background, which brought such a lovely, unique touch to the moment.

The venue itself is stunning, with so many gorgeous spots for photos – I can’t wait to see how they turned out. Kenneth and the team were brilliant – the food was absolutely delicious and the service was spot on. We danced the night away, and it was so nice to step out onto the deck to cool down in the warm summer air.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it did. We had our Day 2 celebrations at Barnabrow as well, and honestly, it was even better than the wedding day! Everyone was so relaxed, and we had the most incredible evening filled with joy and energy. We mixed an Irish céilí with some Latin flair – tango and bachata – and even threw in some Bollywood dance moves. It was the perfect setting, as we transformed the entire restaurant into a dance floor. The atmosphere, the freedom, and the fun made it the best day – one I will remember for the rest of my life.

Breakfast every morning was another highlight – a generous buffet followed by Eggs Benedict… I definitely wasn’t counting calories! Our guests also had great things to say about their rooms – everyone was so comfortable and well looked after.

I truly couldn’t recommend Barnabrow House highly enough – it was the perfect place to celebrate such a special time in our lives, and we’re so grateful to everyone there for helping create memories we’ll treasure forever

We had the most amazing time at Barnabrow Country House. We spent 3 nights on-site with all of our guests. The wedding and everything else went so smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff and our wedding coordinator Greta who went above and beyond to make our special day absolutely perfect.

We loved every minute of our wedding weekend at Barnabow. The setting was magical with lots of different spaces for our guests to relax in. The kids loved the goats and donkeys and had plenty of space to play.

We were married at Barnabrow House and could not have picked a more perfect place. The venue is so unique, charming and a perfect place for a romantic wedding!

interacting with the donkeys and wandering through the fairy trails. The grounds are stunning and every day we woke up to gorgeous views and a wonderful home-cooked breakfast at their tea rooms.

From start to finish, the wedding team was available to answer all of my questions and help plan. We had multiple dinners with delicious food. It was an incredible experience and we highly recommend booking any event at this venue or just coming to stay at their B&B!
