Located on the outskirts of Sligo Town and overlooked by the majestic Benbulben Mountain is the Clayton Hotel Sligo a wonderful wedding venue in the west of Ireland.

Dating back to 1848 and designed by William Dean Butler, the Clayton is a landmark building boasting a striking granite exterior, which has been sensitively restored and remodelled as a beautiful contemporary 4 star hotel.

We invite you to celebrate your most memorable day with us. Our professional events team understands the importance of this occasion – our aim is to ensure every last detail of your day is planned and delivered to your expectations.

From the small intimate reception to the larger more traditional banquet for up to 400 guests, everything a bride and groom could wish for in a wedding venue can be found right here.

Did you know that we have a licence to hold Civil Ceremonies? For these ceremonies we can offer our ballroom. This venue can cater for up to 300 guests. Further details available on request.

just fell in love with the semi-private area.
Upon arrival to the hotel on Friday afternoon the 6th August we were greeted by a lovely team of staff who waited ever so patiently while we had photos taken.
Soon after we were guided in by Dylan and Joseph and taken to our tables. We were absolutely blown away with how the room was decorated and laid out, totally beyond our wildest dreams. The setting, the decor, and the ambience was just breathtaking. The food was just amazing, every single morsel was melt in the mouth. And what a team of staff, Joesph, Dylan and Grainne.
